Former Hudson Valley local here. Moved a few hours away the other year. Check engine light in my 2017 Fit came on and inspection was coming due within the month. Got a diagnostic from a dealer where I now live and was told the fix would cost over $2.5, and was not covered by warranty. Ouch. I was a bit skeptical, so reached out to Lia to see if I could get a better estimate. Not only was their estimate over 20% lower than the one in my area (and I am *not* in a high cost of living area, mind you), but the service agent I worked with, Mark Wertheim, double-checked my old diagnostic and went through the effort to find out that the repairs actually *were* covered under warranty, even though doing so cuts the commission he makes on the service. Ended up getting all the work squared away in less than a day, had a pleasant trip downstate to visit family and friends, and left barely paying a dime. Awesome experience and wonderful customer service. Mark (and everyone else I spoke with while I was there, for that matter) was informative, helpful, and - breaking the usual car sales/mechanic stereotype - refreshingly honest. I plan on coming back for plenty of my future maintenance if I have the opportunity. More
