Who knew purchasing a car could be so pleasant! I initially phoned Honda of Kingston and the receptionist transferred me to Ken in sales. We had a brief conversation about my interest in the Insight. It was refreshing to speak to a 'car salesman' that was so mild mannered. I've been shopping for a new vehicle for a few weeks and have dealt with many types of sales people, so even the brief exchange we had over the phone regarding a few details about a specific car on the Kington lot, impressed me. I continued to test drive a couple vehicles here and there, even visited a Honda dealership closer to me and test drove an Insight and Civic at that location. The salesman at this location, came off a little heavy handed in trying to get me interested 'not' in the Insight but the Civic. Anyway, the next day my husband and I drove to Kingston Honda and Ken was busy with customers, and I believe his name was John, came to our assistance. He gave us keys to take the Insight for a test drive and take our time and enjoy the car. No pressure, no trying to put us in another car, just..go ahead, take it a for spin. So we took it for a drive and were equally impressed with the vehicle. But we just couldn't do the deal, we needed to think about it over the weekend. Monday morning came, and there was a message left on our telephone from Ken, apologizing that he couldn't take care of us during our last visit, but if we needed anything else, to give him a call. So, I gave him a call and said, okay let's deal, I've got a number, you've got a number and let's see how close we can get your number to mine. Thankfully, he laughed! Drove to Honda of Kingston and again, everyone greeted me with a warm smile, (void of any "sizing up my budget looks" from the staff, a welcome change from other dealerships.) Ken and I chatted, he came up with a number, I showed him my budget, he spoke with the Manager...badabing! I'm the proud and still very relaxed owner of a brand new car. No nerves shattered, no feeling of 'jeez, i think i just got screwed', no insulting comments that sometimes salesmen can make to female buyers. I'm telling you it was perfect! Only one glitch, I couldn't pick up the car that night. My husband and I both volunteer running a boys and girls club, and that particular night was our closing ceremony night. As excited as we were to pick up the car, we just couldn't. So guess what Ken and the management did for us...Ken drove our new Insight to us at our meeting site, we signed the papers, he handed us the keys and in under 20 minutes we had our new car....delivered to us. Again, amazing! I can't say enough wonderful things about my personal experience with Honda Of Kingston! Even though, I mainly worked with Ken (who, for being a new salesman, did an outstanding job) I am keenly aware that 'Management sets the tone' at a place of business. So I congratulate the owners, the management, the very pleasant receptionists, the other sales people(who again, always greeted me with a warm smile) and though I haven't met the service department yet, I'm sure they are professional as well. Honda should be aware of this Automobile dealership, Honda of Kingston...because they have the perfect trifecta for business: professionalism, warmth, knowledge of the product. Kudos to Ron Morehead Jr. and staff! More
Manny is awesome!! very knowledgeable and friendly. Paul's knowledge of the Financial Dept made that part of the transaction move swiftly. A former employee Neil Gallagher was our introduction to Kingston Honda. He too is a polite, kind, knowledgeable and friendly man who represented the Honda family in a most outstanding way. I will strongly recommend Kingston Honda to my family, friends and neighbors. The lovely woman that assisted Paul was really great as well with a beautiful energy level and great care for her work. The gentleman that inspected my car took care of a couple of challenges I had with it without me asking. I highly recommend Honda of Kingston to everyone desiring a lovely experience with purchasing and having there car serviced. Thank you so much for your pristine service. I extended the highest rating to the Honda of Kingston dealership because of the wonderful experience we had in purchasing our new Honda Civic there. Upon entering the dealership, we were immediately offe dealership because of the wonderful experience we had in purchasing our new Honda Civic there. Upon entering the dealership, we were immediately offered assistance. Their employees were polite and professional. The members of the sales team were there to help and did not engage in any high-pressure sales techniques; they were knowledgeable about their products and readily addressed our questions and concerns. We appreciated that they were willing to work with us on price and gave us a reasonable allowance on a trade-in. Overall, we would not hesitate to recommend that you purchase your next vehicle from Kingston of Honda. Even if, like us, you have to drive some distance, it is more than worth the trip. We will be recommending them to all our family and friends. More
I can't speak highly enough for everyone I've dealt with at Honda of Kingston. I had been bringing my 2008 Honda Fit in for service for about 1.5 years (purchased elsewhere, and not the most fabulous of ex at Honda of Kingston. I had been bringing my 2008 Honda Fit in for service for about 1.5 years (purchased elsewhere, and not the most fabulous of experiences). I have always felt that Eric, in Service, looks out for me and my automobile. It's a pleasure to have a brief, friendly chat each time I come in for routine service. As I hear him interact with others, I know that my experience is not unique to me - he's great with everyone. When my 2008 Honda Fit was totalled in an accident, I worked with Diane Canning in Sales. As with Service, I felt I had met a new friend who cared for my interests. Diane took time to work through different financing options, etc. It didn't seem as though it would matter whether I purchased or not - meeting my needs was what Diane was interested in. When I decided to buy, the car was ready quickly. Everyone I dealt with in the showroom (the manager Chris and several people whose names I don't know) was very nice and friendly. I left with fond farewells and promises to stop back to check in. My complaint with the last dealership I purchased from was that I spent $18,000.00 without any warm, fuzzy exchange. That may be fine for most, but it's not my preference. Honda of Kingston was a dream experience for me. Yet I'm sure every one of them could be "all business" if that's what was desired also. More

The Internet sales manager was fantastic, fast and friendly. I hate talking on the phone and uncomfortable in-person negotiations. Prefer to shop at multiple dealers at once via email sending the quot friendly. I hate talking on the phone and uncomfortable in-person negotiations. Prefer to shop at multiple dealers at once via email sending the quotations back and forth to see who wins the bid for my business. Everything was upfront, every cost detailed. In fact when we closed the deal the cost of registration was lower than expected and the difference was refunded. This dealership is small and amenities are few. Overhead is kept to a minimum and the savings are passed along to the customer; our pricing was about $1000 lower than every other dealer in the area. No pressure, no games, best price, a completely perfect transaction. I had bad experiences with other dealers in the area and even abandoned the Honda brand for a time, Kingston Honda has restored my confidence. More
Don't buy anything from these guys. They were unprofessional from the beginning. They tried the old bait-and-switch technique with me ... I didn't go for it. Whatever you do, go to another dealership for your new Honda ... go south of Kingston Honda, go north of Kingston Honda ... drive an hour or two away if need be ... but don't go Kingston Honda. Take care of your family and go to a real dealership and give them your hard earned money instead of these clowns! You'll thank me later! Trust me! More
