I don't know why, I usually just don't want my opinion to sway anyone else's decision... but this has been hands down the greatest, most stress free experience I've had purchasing a vehicle.(This being my 3rd one). I was on the fence between 4 cars from other dealerships, and I eliminated the other choices almost solely based on the customer service from Steve at Lia Honda in Brewster. Steve was so nonchalant and easygoing, it was like he wasn't even trying to sell me the car or didn't want me to buy it unless I was sure it was what I wanted. And that is the type of honesty and integrity that is valued in a salesman, especially in a purchase this significant. I almost didn't even want to leave the dealership lol. I was so comfortable with my interaction at Lia Honda that I didn't even care much to keep negotiating a better price, as I already did my homework/research and they really did have the best deal in the area. I'm not sure what else I need to say about this place. Thank you Steve, Irene, Ryan, and whoever else was involved in making this purchase as smooth and hassle free as it was. This past purchase was unique in that I had gone in to get an oil change on my leased Honda Civic and while waiting, was lucky and fortunate to be directed to speak with Laura Sterling. I felt immediately at ease and respected in her understanding of what I was looking for. Laura was open, honest, warm and very attentive. I didn't feel at all pressured into purchasing a car at all. Laura pointed out the benefits of purchasing our new Civic and CRV as opposed to keeping our old Civic and CRV, and even recommended I come back with my husband and daughter to make sure this is what we all wanted to do and to test drive the new cars. She made herself available to us around our schedules and answered all our questions. Laura meticulously wrote down all the financial benefits we would gain in purchasing the new cars and also explained in clear detail all of the other packages Lia Honda offers (i.e. Extended warranty and maintenance to name a few). After gathering all this information I met with the Financial manager Robert Schneider, who was also very easy to talk to and did not pressure me in any way to purchase the extra packages. Robert was very clear, concise and fair. I was completely at ease and very happy with the purchasing agreement I had made with him for the two cars. I would say to anyone looking to buy a new Honda to use Lia Honda of Brewster and seek out Laura Sterling to assist you. She is very kind and understanding and listens to what you are saying. Unfortunately about a week ago I got into a horrific car accident and my car was marked a total loss. My CR-V did its job and kept me and my dog safe. I walked away with a few minor injuries. I can't say the same about my car though. I went back to Honda absolutely heart broken and nervous. Irene was very helpful and Steve the sales associate went above and beyond to help me through this experience and get me in a safe new car....the Honda HR-V which was my first choice 2 years ago. I am so thankful to everyone at Brewster Honda for their support and understanding. They treated me like a human being and not just another opportunity to sell a car which was very comforting after being in a terrible accident. More
