I worked with Peter Arvanetes at Lia Honda Brewster. I was in need of a car rather quickly. Peter was so helpful in helping find the best vehicle for me. I had spoken with about 5 other dealers before Peter. I had many questions in the car buying process which Peter answered honestly. I did not feel rushed or pressured to buy from Lia. I felt that they cared about what I needed and did a great job in working with me. Corey Hayes was helpful and clearly gave information about financial options. Lia Honda Brewster is a great place to service your Honda. I live out of state and still make it a point to take my Pilot there for any service required. All the service advisors are pleasant and very helpful. John Ayala is the advisor I deal with the most and he is excellent and will go out of his way to help in any way possible. The service manager Rob is also very helpful and accommodating. They are true professionals and do a great job of keeping you informed of the work being done and future service needed. My brand new vehicle with 800 miles had a "stuck button". I brought the vehicle in to make an appointment and service took it in without an appointment. I had the vehicle back in 30 minutes. A week after purchasing our Pilot we experienced a very rocky period of the car not starting in NYS, and, also when we drove to Florida for the winter. Upon reaching our destination in Port Charlotte, Florida, once again the vehicle would not start, and, had to be towed to the local Honda dealership.. The Port Charlotte, Florida dealership's service department could learn a lot from Lia Honda about how to treat customers in a caring, and, truthful manner. WE WERE SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THAT DEALERSHIP WE WERE FORCED TO CONTACT HONDA CORPORATE IN CA. Also, we were totally dissatisfied with the sales team, and, especially their immediate supervisors who we were referred to at the Brewster, NY location. WE WERE TOTALLY HAPPY WITH ROB BENFARI & JOHN AYALA as they began servicing our vehicle. JOHN AYALA is a credit to Lia Honda, and, he is the type of caring professional we look for when we purchase new vehicles. Mr. Ayala is very experienced, intuitive, and, always pays attention to the details, and, the quality of the service performed on our Honda Accord (also purchased from the Brewster location) & our Honda Pilot.
