Terrible experience from the beginning. Gerry Benson was extremely condescending and spoke in a demeaning manner. My loan payoff was pulled without my consent. He said things like, “what is it that you’re looking to get?” in a belittling tone and even asked, “Can you make a decision or do you need to call your father first?” Against my better judgement, I put down a deposit because I really liked the car. I was told I could pick it up the next day. Well, 2 days later, I had to call and ask where we were with paperwork. I was then told it would be a week to wait for parts. Following a week, I had to call and find out if it was ready. Set up a date for pick up, scheduled a babysitter and rearranged my entire day. The morning of the appt, Gerry called and said they didn’t have lein release from other dealership. I voiced my annoyance and magically, within an hour, they found the paperwork. Extremely disorganized and unprofessional. I bought a new vehicle elsewhere and am so glad that I did! I returned yesterday to retrieve my deposit. Gerry wouldn’t make eye contact or acknowledge my presence as he had to get my file and money. A professional, “I’m sorry we couldn’t make this work.” would have been appropriate. Would not recommend this dealership. More
Scheduling a service appointment on line for a weekday morning was a breeze. Received multiple confirmations for appointment (text, email). Bought my 2019 Jeep Cherokee to LIA Jeep because the "Lane Departure System" and driver side "Blind Spot Monitor" were not working correctly. The blind spot does not register a vehicle in the zone unti "Lane Departure System" and driver side "Blind Spot Monitor" were not working correctly. The blind spot does not register a vehicle in the zone until approximately 1 second after a vehicle enters the zone. The right side registers a second before a vehicle enters the zone. This was the second time I took it in for the blind spot issue. One problem was fixed, (lane departure), one not, blind spot and another created, A CRACKED WINDSHIELD. The crack was approximately 7 inches long, in the lower left front, so most of it could not be seen from inside due to the inspection and registration stickers. The point of initial impact was approximately 1/2 in long, so it was not a stone. I told the service advisor, who took pictures and said the manager would call me back. After three days I called the manager, who did not offer any kind of help. Later in the day the service advisor called and asked what he could do. I told him to get a factory rep to look at the blind spot problem. It is now 5 days and NO call! In the meantime, I had to have the windshield replaced. I understand that accidents happen, but to not address the issue is WRONG! Glad I found out what kind of customer service is to be expected before I took my vehicle in for something serious. I would give a rating of 0 stars if allowed. CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! More

At the recommendation of Mike at ProAutomotive in Schenectady, I brought my 2012 Grand Caravan to this dealership for repair of the right (passenger) side sliding door, which would not lock. I had not been to this dealership before this, but Mike's recommendation was spot-on. John Elmendorf was very friendly and helpful, and advised me along the way to an expensive (not his fault!) but necessary repair. More
