Take your car somewhere ELSE to be serviced!!!! Seriously people, do your research. Once they have your car it is going to be hard for you to get in touch with them. I actually had to show up to the Seriously people, do your research. Once they have your car it is going to be hard for you to get in touch with them. I actually had to show up to the service department IN PERSON because no one answers the phone or returns any of our phone calls. There is a good possibility that I have to get a new transmission and I would rather pay to get my car towed somewhere where they care about the customer as more than a cash flow. If I have to drop $2,000 on a new transmission I will be doing that at a more reputable establishment. More
Well worth the drive Only the best things to say about Lia. From the moment David Lee (salesman) picked up my call to the morning Bob (driver) dropped brand new Jeep Wrangler off at my house, everything was easy and smooth. The dealership is fair, and the sales team is authentic. There were no games, no haggling.. real numbers, done deal. Having had the exact opposite experience with several dealerships in NY (my home state), Lia is a stand out. The team is class act. This is what buying a new car should always be like. There is no need for the haggling and demeaning conversations that often come with car buying. So happy to have found David Lee and Lia. It was nearly a two hour drive, but I would have been willing to drive further for the experience. And, I love my new Jeep Wrangler (number 7 for me). More
Do NOT take your car here for service, incompetence! 11-13-19 UPDATE now I know why Rachel was pressuring me to buy new bulbs, she knew they had broken the drivers side one. I had the passenger side one 11-13-19 UPDATE now I know why Rachel was pressuring me to buy new bulbs, she knew they had broken the drivers side one. I had the passenger side one re-installed and it easily went back in. Drivers side one is broken and now I have to pay for a new one and another install. DO NOT GO TO LIA, THE MANAGER RACHEL HAWKINS IS A LIAR And their mechanics are incompetent!! DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE OR BUY FROM THEM. THEY LIE AND DAMAGE YOUR CAR!! I own a brand new 2019 Jeep Compass.I went in for an oil change and a tire rotation. An hour later the mechanic claims he "noticed" my drivers side high beam had "fallen out" of the housing. Absolutely IMPOSSIBLE. Anyone who has ever installed a headlight knows once it locks into place it doesn't get "bumped out" by a pothole. He asks do I want him to put it back in I said yes. An hour later he comes back and tells me not only did he NOT get the drivers one back in, but claims in an attempt to see how its mounted, he tried the passenger side one and supposedly that one fell out in his hand too! So now my 2019 Jeep Compass has NO HIGH BEAMS because this idiot cant figure out how to put them back in! He argues with me says its a size 9007 and I put in a 9005 so he claims that is the problem I said no its a 9005 all day long buddy. Then he decides to change his story again and says "oh yea you're right it is a 9005 but the ones you have in there dont fit." Funny they were JUST FINE since March until this moron gets a hold of my car! The mechanic changed his story numerous times finally deciding on "they dont fit. They are too big". Really? Over 600 people in a compass group have identical lights to the ones in mine and only mine don't fit? Only mine fell out? The mechanic is an absolute liar and so is Rachel Hawkins I have emails where she also changed her story repeatedly. Here is what I think happened, this guy was curious what LED's I'm using took one out to see what it is, and couldn't get it back in. He panics comes up with a BS lie. For god knows what reason he also decides to take out the passenger side high beam.I NEVER authorized him to remove the passenger side and I don't believe EITHER bulb just "fell out". I put them in myself and they were in there very tight! I've been installing bulbs longer than this mechanic has been alive. I know for a fact it was in there installed properly and tight. He also let air out of my tires, put them down to 31psi which after sitting in the cold all night the car was dinging and warning me to reinflate them to 35psi! I tried talking to the service manager Rachel, her solution is to blackmail me into buying new bulbs from them and having them install those. WHY would I do that? 1. I still have the OEM bulbs that came in this vehicle, they are exactly the same size as the LED's I put in. If he could not reinstall the LED's he wont be able to reinstall OEM bulbs either, because they are exactly the same size!! I asked repeatedly to let me bring it back in and have someone who knows what they are doing put them back in. Nope Rachel refuses that. So I contact the general Manager Jeannine, and she also refuses to help me. They gave me back my vehicle in an ILLEGAL condition, you cant mess up someones headlights then just give them back the car to reinstall it themselves! The vehicle is also a fire hazard right now, since all the guy did was open the dust cover and put the bulbs in behind the housing. They are not even sticking out the holes into the housing! THIS IS ILLEGAL! Now I have to pay another jeep dealer to put my bulbs back in, and apparently sue Lia for the cost of doing so. I'm also reporting them to Jeep, to the local TV news, and to the MA attorney generals office and anyone else I can find. I will NEVER go there again. This is NOT the first time their service manager Rachel has allowed something in my Compass to get messed up and instead of working with you, she will attack you and basically call you a liar. TWICE now I've had to fight with her when she was wrong. I'm so fed up with the crap from this dealership and their LOUSY LYING STAFF. You can bet if they dont willingly repay me the money I spent to have these bulbs reinstalled I'll be taking them to small claims court to get my money back. I am SO fed up with the lies and fighting when there is no need of it. Rachel does not know the meaning of customer service. If you dont agree with her she will send double the time it would have taken to fix your car, fighting with you instead! Blows my mind that the General manager allows this crap. More
Don't Waste Your Time !! I should have taken my hint of things to come when I waited for hours for the salesperson to call me back with some numbers, only to find out that she I should have taken my hint of things to come when I waited for hours for the salesperson to call me back with some numbers, only to find out that she had left for the day. We got that straightened out, spoke with someone else in sales a few times about leasing a Jeep, and then at the end of the week drove 3 hours to test drive the vehicle that we had been discussing and possibly close the deal. We went back and forth a few times in negotiations and finally sealed the deal, and gave them the deposit. Only after all of that was done, and after about 2 1/2 hours, we were finally informed that the person who needed to complete the paperwork wasn't in, and we would have to return next week to complete the paperwork, wasting yet another day off from work. This, despite having been assured several times, including during negotiations, that we could complete the deal and they would deliver the car to us next week. After we decided to cancel the deal, and asked for our money back, the sales manager came out and tried to salvage the deal, never once apologizing that we had been misled throughout the process. We told him the deal wasn't going to happen. His quote was " you mean if I give him this lease for $300 a month he'll walk away"? I asked him if that was what he was offering and of course the answer was no. He then couldn't understand why we found it unacceptable that his business manager was allowed to take a day off. I informed him that good businesses had a little redundancy in their staffing, so that they could continue to do business when someone was out. That was the end of our discussion. Don't waste your time, because they certainly will !! More

Returned to Lia Jeep, and the shop manager stated that "Firestone lies all the time". hen he started in with did i see oil on the ground where i parked. I insisted it be checked, and they did a dye test, which required me to wait a few days. Lo and behold, I return a couple days later, and the dye indicated there was a gasket leak around the oil pan ( well, Firestone was right after all) So Lia pulls out the service sheet on the vehicle, and before it was sold to me they had already knew about the problem, but saw no need to repair it. Then they did charge me to fix the issue! Meanwhile the personnel were rude, did not call when promised, basically treated like I was some stooge or mark, since I was not buying a new car. Caveat Emptor applies here in full force. More

It took My 70 y/o mother bought a 2017 Dodge Charger from these people in July 2018. It has been nothing but headaches dealing with them ever since. It took her 3 times to get the car detailed as promised and when they finally did it was done poorly. There were several other issues that she uncovered and each took multiple efforts to get addressed (cracked vanity mirror, broken muffler extension etc..). In January 2019 the battery died for no apparent reason, the car was under warranty at the time. They supposedly tested the car and found nothing wrong. On April 5th the battery dies again, warranty has now expired. She has the car towed to Lia. They claim they have no record of the car being there in January. This time testing supposedly shows that the radio isn't turning off properly and is draining the battery. Since the car is no longer under warranty it will now cost $1K. While speaking with the Service Manager he slips up and makes mention of the car being there in January, which supposedly they didn't have record of. HMMMM.... She also speaks to the General Manager about this and the prior issues. She dismisses everything because she is new and this all happened before she started. It has now been a month and after many calls and visits the radio is still not in stock. They've been, snarky, arrogant and rude in most of her interactions. And they have now told her that they have no idea when the radio will be available. They gave her a refund for the money she paid for the radio and told her she is on her own. Don't do business with these clowns. More

H I just completed a used car purchase and trade in at Lia Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM Northampton. I was very much impressed with the overall experience. Having been to two other dealerships before Lia I was not looking forward to the experience. To my surprise everything went exceedingly well. I was greeted as soon as I entered the sales floor. My sales professional was very attentive and went straight to work finding a vehicle as we discussed what I had in mind. Within minutes I was presented with two vehicles that fit the bill and was test driving one. While I looked at new cars my trade-in was being appraised and I was presented with a fair offer for the trade, no haggling necessary! The entire deal went smooth, I never felt pressured and was treated honestly start to finish. The business manager was extremely helpful in explaining the warranty options and coverage's. All in all this was the most pleasant experience I have had purchasing a car in 50 years. Thank you Lia...very happy with the service!! More
Excellent Sales Team and Excellent Experience The sales team at Lia Jeep is the most professional and courteous teams we have come across in shopping for our Jeep. The entire purchasing experien The sales team at Lia Jeep is the most professional and courteous teams we have come across in shopping for our Jeep. The entire purchasing experience from our sales consultant, Eric Wright, to the sales manager Trevor, to the GM Fred and Financing Consultant John worked as a team in the most pleasant and courteous manner. This team is truly an asset to the Lia family of dealerships. Due to our unpleasant experience at another dealership, we went into Lia around 7 PM. Even though the dealership closed at 8 PM, they accommodated us in buying our Jeep and stayed until around 9:45 PM to get the deal finalized to our satisfaction in a pleasant and professional manner even though it was way beyond their closing hours, you would have never known based on the positive attitude of the staff. I would recommend the dealership to anyone shopping for a vehicle. More
