I had a bad experience at another dealer and because I live so close to the Northampton Chrysler Dealer I decided to stop and look at the inventory. She sat down with me and I told her my financial situation and that I was looking to end my current lease and wanted to know if I would qualify to start a loan, I did not find that leasing was the right fit. She ran some numbers and showed me 6 vehicles that would be in my price range and would keep me as close to my current payment as possible. I test drove a car that I did not feel comfortable in and she could tell I was not sold; the vehicle that I was the most interested in didn't look like it was going to happen. Little did I know she was still crunching numbers and working with the banks after I left. We walked away and I thought that was the end but within an hour she called me back to let me know that if I was still interested I was approved for a loan on the 2013 Journey, I was at the other dealership at this point and I just decided to walk away. I had been waiting three days for the other dealer to contact me about financing and Aimee called me back within one hour of leaving the dealership. We came back to test drive it and sat down to sign the papers. There was absolutely no pressure, it was very relaxed and extremely customer friendly. I could not believe what a wonderful and easy experience this was. She even came in on her day off to meet with us again. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle I would absolutely recommend Northampton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, you will never forget the experience. No hassle, no pressure and you feel like they are there for you (the customer) and not to make a sale!!! :) All the associates work very well together, if one does not know the answer they walk over and speak to one another to give you the best answer. I had a very good experience purchasing a 2014 Dodge Caravan on November 15, 2013. I was trading a clean, well-maintained 2008 Caravan with about 90,000 miles. I needed a new car and Northampton CDJR wanted to sell me one. It was as simple as that. I liked the color—Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl Coat. The American Value Package put the 2014 Caravan in my price range. Dan Sullivan and Anthony Bailey gave me a good deal on my trade and a rebate. They and the shop personnel made the trade a quick exchange so that I could get on with my busy schedule. I have made three trips to PA with the new car. I am enjoying it very much. I called and spoke with Gina. I told Gina I must have three thingsin my new vehicle: automatic, a/c, and remote door locks. She talked with her sales manager and gave me a price, and said if we come in, three thingsin my new vehicle: automatic, a/c, and remote door locks. She talked with her sales manager and gave me a price, and said if we come in, they would do a little better. We came in the next day and sat down with a salesman who had nothing to do with the problems. He said Gina was mistaken, that all Corollas do not come with remote door locks. These features are only available in a higher model. They purposely gave us a price to get us in there, then changed cars and added even more on top of that price. In the end they tried to get an extra $2400 out of us for a Forte. Eventually we told them we weren't buying the car because it was too much, and that their employees told us what we wanted to hear to get us in there. The sales manager was absolutely horrible. He also lied and said he was "sitting right there, and Gina would never give you those prices". My husband and I have bought many many new cars over the years and understand that the process isn't a picnic. But, to have a dealership train their employees to lie to get business makes me sick. They are a newer dealership; you would think they would try hard to make their potential customers happy. I truly hope this new dealership fails; they most certainly will if they treat all their customers they way we were treated (and I am sure they do). For anyone buying a new car..... STEER CLEAR OF LIA DEALERSHIPS!!!!!!! More

My goal in buying a car was to support a local dealership if I could find what I was looking for. After being pushed around at many local Jeep dealerships I decided to consult this exact website for the best Jeep dealerships within reasonalbe distance. After reading the reviews it was clear that I swing down to Northampton Chryster Dodge Jeep Ram to give them a fair go at it. The visit was short and not anything like I am used to from other dealers. I was first greeted by Phil. He was extremely personable, NOT PUSHY, and knows his vehicles. Before I left we swapped phone numbers and a few details on what I was looking to get for my trade and vehicle price. The visit was no hassle and pressure free. He actually told me he had to take some time to do research on a fair trade price for my vehicle. No b.s small room tactics, waiting around, stupid monthly payment worksheets, or pressure to make a hastie decision. Within a few days Sean and Phil had worked out a great trade in value of my car and an awesome price for a factory ordered jeep! These two worked weekends and after hours to ensure I drove away with my dream Jeep. Aimee went above and beyond setting me up with not only financing but also with a partnered paint protection company. She made sure that detailed custom work was followed to a T. She even set me up with a loaner car while my Jeep was getting the protection applied. I cannot stress enough how happy I am that I made my purchase through this dealership. Thank you! Myself, my wife,our four children, and our dog were on our way to Look Park in Northampton Mass. We were traveling in our 2012 Chrysler Town and Country purchased from a dealer in W. Springfield, MA. While on I-91 north our alternator light came on and the van started acting up with odd shifts and electronic failure. We pulled over twice. And after some coaxing made it to our destination, which is 30 miles from our home. I placed a call to Chrysler roadside assistance since the van had only 15,000 miles on it. They had me towed, family left at park, to Northampton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Being it was a late Saturday afternoon I was about to find out how bad off I was. Chrysler would not cover a rental vehicle. Since it was after 2:30p.m. there were no rental places open. My dealership friends in West Springfield offered no help either. Mr. Fanning who is the general manager offered a greatly needed hand. His dealership doesn't carry rentals. He allowed me to use his courtesy van to bring my family home. If not for his generosity I would've been saddled with cab fare or a three hour wait for a ride. When our van was fixed he had me picked up. I told him if the day came that I could purchase a vehicle. It would be at his store. Fast forward three months and I noticed a invite from Northampton Chrysler for their Green Tag event. Not thinking I had a chance for a new vehicle I decided to pay a visit for their Target gift card. Upon arrival I was greeted by name. I had brought my two boys aged 11 and 4. Never once was I bombarded with aggressive tactics or rhetoric as most of us are accustomed to at a dealership. After speaking with Mr. Fanning about a hypothetical purchase I was introduced to Sean Bannon who showed me some 2013 Ram 1500's. Not once throughout my time with him did he push me towards anything. I merely said what I would want, and what I could pay. Long story short. I now have a 2013 Ram 1500 express. I never dreamed this could happen. From Mr. Fanning to Sean, to Aimee the finance guru, and last but not least Phil the sales manager. I was treated like a person and not just a sale. So in closing if you need a vehicle, whether new or used. They are definitely worth the drive. And when I need a new Town and Country I will gladly drive by west springfield, get on 91 north and go to my friends at Northampton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. More
