We found Harry to be warm, friendly, low-pressure, and competent. Kind of the antithesis of the stereotypical car salesman. After showing us an RX350 in the showroom he quickly arranged a test drive on the car we eventually bought. With a minimal amount of negotiating we made a deal, and drove the car home the next day. I conducted hours of research on the Lexus IS 250 and found myself in touch with Larry Ellis, the Internet Director at Vista Lexus, who had the perfect car for me at the perfect price. Since I was still wrapping my life up in SF when I initiated contact with Larry and unable to come down and see the car for another week, Larry, sensing my genuine interest in purchasing this car, offered to hold the car for me until I came to see it in person. If, for any reason, I decided not to go through with the purchase, I was free to walk away with absolutely no obligations or penalties. I really had nothing to lose. When I finally made my way to the dealership, I found that Larry was just as awesome in person as he was over the phone and email, I LOVED the car, LOVED the laid-back atmosphere of the dealership and the easygoing nature of everyone who worked there and LOVED that I was in and out of there and on the 101 on my way home in my new-ish car in one hour. And half of them wouldn't even discuss price over the phone. I went to Larry's dealership expecting the worst. I expected him to try to increase the price or tell me the car was just sold but I didn't experience any of that. I was in and out of the dealership in about 1.5 hours. The experience was fantastic and I wish all my past and future car buying experiences are just like this one. More
