As a customer of Lexus Of Tampa Bay, I recently had an unfortunate experience that compelled me to share my disappointment. I brought my vehicle to the dealership for a seemingly straightforward service t unfortunate experience that compelled me to share my disappointment. I brought my vehicle to the dealership for a seemingly straightforward service task – the replacement of two rims. However, what ensued was a prolonged ordeal, as the process to obtain the replacement rims took an exorbitant amount of time, causing considerable inconvenience. Upon finally receiving my vehicle back from the service department, I was appalled by its condition. Despite having brought it in meticulously clean, it was returned to me in a deplorable state, covered in pollen and leaves both inside and out. This egregious oversight suggested a lack of attention to detail during the service process, leaving me thoroughly dismayed. Furthermore, I couldn’t help but notice the stark contrast between the treatment of the loaner vehicle provided to me and the neglect shown towards my own vehicle. Despite my efforts to maintain the loaner vehicle in impeccable condition, the same level of care was not reciprocated for my own vehicle. As a conscientious consumer, I believe in holding businesses accountable for their actions. Unfortunately, the service I received at Lexus Of Tampa Bay fell far short of the standards I expect from a reputable establishment. This experience has left me feeling disillusioned and regretful of my decision to trust this dealership with my vehicle. In light of these grievances, I urge the dealership to take proactive measures to prevent such lapses in service quality from recurring in the future. As a loyal customer, I had hoped for a more positive experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Overall, I am deeply disappointed by the level of service I received at Lexus Of Tampa Bay and would caution others considering patronizing this dealership. More
I always use this dealership for service for my 2015 Lexus 350. I always request MJ as my service manager. He is always professional and personable, answers all concerns I might have. I bought a new GX460 from this dealership. On my drive home, I noticed the steering wheel was not aligned straight and car was pulling to the right. Also noticed steering wheel was shaking at around 65 mph. Since it was too late to bring the car back and I had other cars at home to drive, I made an appt a few days later to bring the car back. The service manager, believe his name was Joe Diaz asked me about the issues with the car. I told him about it, as well as not wanting a car wash. I was at the dealership for around 2 hours. Joe Diaz told me the car was fine, tracked straight, no shaking of the steering wheel and was good to go. He said the issue had to do with the crown on the road and not the car itself. The receipt stated the same and also stated "customer verbally declined multi point inspection". I never said such a thing. Again on my drive home, same issues occurred. A few days later, I took the car to Lexus of Wesley Chapel. I told them the issues I have been having. They test drove the car and noticed the front end was completely out of alignment and wheels were out of balance. They did a 4 wheel alignment and road balanced all the 4 wheels. Finally the problem was solved! Needless to say I will be taking my Lexus to Lexus of Wesley Chapel. Lexus of Tampa Bay is the worst and most incompetent Lexus dealership I have ever been to! I wouldn't be surprised if they replaced your engine oil with baby oil! It isn't surprising its an Autonation dealership. For a Lexus dealer being in business for nearly 30 years, they have never won the Elite of Lexus award. I wonder why! More

Not the best experience by far. First, I had to wait in my car and drive up as the line progressed. That's never happened to me before. I thought, maybe I misheard them. When I tried to go wait in the lounge, I was told wait in my vehicle for my service agent to be available. Not use to that, and I've been a happy Lexus customer since 2020. When I asked for a loaner so I could get some breakfast, I was told, they didn't provide loaners for regular maintenance. Just to be told later, that after adding several things to the work order that were from the milage sheet that I finally qualified for a loaner. I asked the to look in the system as I have had a lot of things done in Sarasota. I was told they couldn't see their system, so they wouldn't know what has been done. I was completely shocked and therefore, worried that I was getting tricked. At this point, I just wanted what needed to be done, so I could leave as quick as possible. Now I'm questioning if the low car battery text was accurate, as I've had no issues with my battery. The text sent only showed the meter, I couldn't tell if it was really for my car. I also asked to have the battery changed on my spare key since my car keeps alerting me of a low key battery. Today, I still have that alert happening and I've had both key batteries replaced. Just overall, a really displeasing and uncomfortable experience. I won't be back to the Tampa location. More
