What can I say? When I'm wrong, I'm wrong! After what I thought was a awful experience yesterday afternoon at Lexus of Tampa Bay, it turned out to be one of the BEST EXPERIENCE of my life in 2011! Yesterda thought was a awful experience yesterday afternoon at Lexus of Tampa Bay, it turned out to be one of the BEST EXPERIENCE of my life in 2011! Yesterday I posted a bad review regarding their customer service but today's experience made me want to get a T-shirt made saying "I LOVE LEXUS OF TAMPA BAY." I met my fiance there after work today and walked in Nick's office. He had a nice ice cold water waiting for me (it was HOT outside) and greeted me with a big smile. As soon as I walked in he apologized. He apologized before even introducing himself. We immediately walked outside to look at some of the vehicles and when I turned around the GENERAL MANAGER was walking up to me (Joe Petrillo)to immediately apologize again for the lack of customer service the previous day. He was VERY well dressed and gave me such a firm handshake. I could tell the sincerity in his apology. What I immediately appreciated is that he didn't try to make excuses for why no one greeted me the previous day, he just said "It's unacceptable and it shouldn't have happen". He even stayed past his shift to wait for me to get there so he could personally offer his apologies. I mean geeeesh, I felt so awful after that! Like I said yesterday, the cars were CLEAN, I mean like right off the manufacturer truck clean. There is a folder in EVERY car showing the Carfax and what Lexus of Tampa Bay's service shop did to the car. There is a price on EVERY CAR as well. How often do you go to buy a used car and see PRICES ON EVERY SINGLE CAR? Needless to say we made a purchase. All the cars are priced EXTREMELY reasonable, look for yourself...I'm so glad I decided to calm down and give them another chance. After all the great reviews I read about them, I knew it had to be some type of stroke of bad luck. I'm running out of space so in closing all I have to say is "LEXUS OF TAMPA BAY IS MY DEALER FOR LIFE!!!" I will be telling all my friends and all my co-workers! BTW: Nick worked REALLLY HARD on our purchase and it NEVER felt like it was all about his commission. GIVE HIM A RAISE!!!! More

He just sat there like he was'nt paying attention to my issue. When I finished talking , he asked me was that everything ?I said YES....His response was "I first want to offer my apoligy for what has happen and then he told me he would have a car for me to drive pulled up and ready for us to go the mall and have lunch on him and come back in 2 hours and everything would be ok. He assured me everything I told him would be fixed and look even better than when it was new. Gabriel has this calming effect about him, he makes you fell warm and fuzzy about doing business with Lexus Of Tampa bay.I was really mad and he just sat there and let me blow off my steam and he sorta made me feel stupid becuase he was so nice of a gentleman. He told me he would take care of me just like he would his own father, and sure enough he treated me just like a family member.He will ALWAYS be the one I ask for when I come back to buy my next car. Excellent customer service is NOT dead in America! I purchased my Lexus 450H at this dealership, and I service it here as well. When I am there, my salesperson, Richard LaFay, is always friendly and wants to know how he can help. The service people are excellent, also. I was greeted right on time for my service repair appointment, had a seat and made a delicious cup of coffee in their luxurious waiting area, used their wifi, and within almost no time, my car was ready. Having continuous questions about how to use the bluetooth on my phone is not a problem; Richard is always so welcoming and knowledgeable. He really is a wizard at helping me with any technological gadgetry on my new Lexus. Having him as my salesperson was a true stroke of luck for me! I would recommend this dealership, and especially Richard LaFay to any of my good friends and family. More
It's not the sale but the follow up after the sale that counts. Richard has always been a straight shooter from the beginning but I'm more impressed with his follow up since purchasing my vehicle 3 months counts. My husband and I had been looking for another car to purchase. We already had a 2000 GS 300, and we both really enjoy the car. So we decided to purchase another Lexus about a month 1/2 ago, because of the craftmanship, liability, and customer service. We feel that Lexus is very reasonable when it comes to service, they don't try to overcharge you because you are driving a lexus, like some other dealerships. When we went into the dealership we was approached by a salesman by the name of Richard LaFaye, and was very pleased with his approach, he was very kind and explained everything in detail to us in regards to the car we were interested in. I told my husband that I know we already have a Lexus, but I enjoy the car so much that I would like to have another one. So a week later we went back and brought a 2007 GS 350, and I must say I truly love driving this car, it has a great ride. It feels different very our GS 300. I spent the majority of the day at the dealership awaiting my husband to get there, and Richard Lafaye was there with me every step of the way, he test drove both cars, the 2006 GS 300 and 2007 GS 350 with me and explained the difference in both cars, and because I was undecided because I love the color on one of them, but the other had more features, he made the decision easier for me to pick. He even invited me to have lunch with him, which was very thougtful. Purchasing a car can be very stressful, but Richard LaFaye made it very easy, and enjoyable. He has a great personality and is very honest, which is what I can appreciate as a customer. We will definatley purchase from him again, and refer friends and family to him if they are in the market of buying a Lexus. More
