Purchased a used $30k Lexus last year with Nexen tires. Dealer refused to change tires to a better quality tire. After 11,000 miles these tires can not be found and I need only one. When I purchased a Lexus, I thought that I purchased the customer service that comes with a luxury vehicle. I was clearly wrong. Never again! I drove from out of state to purchase my vehicle. I was informed customer service that comes with a luxury vehicle. I was clearly wrong. Never again! I drove from out of state to purchase my vehicle. I was informed that title and registration would take 30 days. When I had not received anything from my local DMV around the 30 day mark, I called Lexus of Tampa to inquire. I was brushed off by a few representatives, all suggesting that I just needed to wait longer. I continued to contacting my local DMV weekly, until they finally suggested that I contact the dealership and requested the FedEx tracking numbers for my paperwork. It was then, when I realized that Lexus of Tampa didn’t care about the way they treated customers. After finally obtaining the tracking numbers, I learned that Lexus of Tampa didn’t even mail the paperwork to my local DMV for almost a month after my purchase! Why on earth would it take almost a month to mail the DMV my documents? Anyway, once I learned that the documents were finally received by my DMV, I could finally take a breath of fresh air… right? Not so quick! I gave it about 2 weeks from the time my DMV received my paperwork before calling my DMV back. I was told by the DMV that Lexus of Tampa calculated the taxes incorrectly, and that the entire package was sent back for corrections. Fast forward to yesterday, I called Lexus of Tampa to find out what was going on, and was met with everything from “you just need to wait longer” to “we don’t know what’s going on”. So let me get this straight, it took you almost one month to prepare my documents, and you got it wrong?!?!?? And now you act like I’m completely blowing things out of proportion? COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! I purchased luxury for luxury service, and I expect nothing less! Unfortunately, it looks like I’m now stuck with poor Lexus customer service for four more years! I couldn’t feel more taken advantage of at this point. More
My wife and I went to this dealership on 5/17 to shop for a vehicle. Once we decided on the one we wanted it was to late to sign forms, so they asked for us to come back next day. Meanwhile, they allowed for a vehicle. Once we decided on the one we wanted it was to late to sign forms, so they asked for us to come back next day. Meanwhile, they allowed for us to take possession of the vehicle and drive it home that night. The unfortunate part, I was given a vehicle with stickers all over the window and with no gas. Before leaving the parking lot, I went back inside and asked for them to fill it up and was advised that nobody was available to put gas in it and that I would have to put gas in it myself. Next day, they would fill up the tank. Next day, I said I would be available at 3:30pm to sign documents and be on our way. It wasn’t until after 6pm that we started signing anything. Meanwhile, the detailer did a very light vacuum on the carpets but never cleaned the seats good or removed the dust that was all over the dash, nor put gas in the car. It wasn’t until I left the dealership that we started to notice things, because we had left in a rush. As of today, I have yet to receive one follow up call from anyone. They truly lack in communication and are not very professional. This will be the first and last time I ever do business with this company. Love the car, not the service! More
