HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE:DID NOT FOLLOW INSURANCE PROTOCOL AT ALL State Farm asked to take car to Lexus Dealer for a shattered driver side passenger window. The dealer was told specifically that they had to do an industrial level clean of the interior to get out all debris and glass that had scattered all over the car and because of fear of other debris in car--car was broken into by someone intoxicated and altered, as they ripped out the console for now reason, etc. Thousands of dollars later, the dealer did not bother to do the industrial cleanout requested by both me and the insurance company--they then sent the following cursory message despite my pleading with the service manager: "AS part of the repairs, we do a quick courtesy carwash and that is all..." Did he not realize I had expressly told them (and the insurance company had) that the car needed the interior completely cleaned??? I have a child seat--it was supposed to be disposed of and the seat cleaned of glass that had blown into back. They did not do this till I asked. We then found a razor blade under the driver seat--where they obviously did not inspect or clean. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. IF THEY CANNOT GET THIS RIGHT AND THIS LEVEL OF ATTENTION IS GIVEN TO THE CAR, THEN I DON'T TRUST THEM FOR ANYTHING ELSE. In addition, left message about a damaged part of the passenger side seat--no response at all to date. Calling back State Farm. More

Just had my 60,000 miles car maintenance done. Lexus really did a good job on it. I can feel the car drive really better now. Got a loaner car and they call me when the car is done. 90,000 Mile Service Visit I am extremely baffled at this place - the sheer cost to fix things is ridiculous. The reason why I went in was to get the 90,000 mile service and was I am extremely baffled at this place - the sheer cost to fix things is ridiculous. The reason why I went in was to get the 90,000 mile service and was quoted $1500. The national average is $600, so go figure. And of course they find issues almost to the point of wanting to find issues to suck money out of their customers. This seems like daylight fraud. When I went in, I of course asked to get a few more things fixed and why not. Believe this the cost to fix things was $15,000 in total, as an example, to fix a strut is $2500+ dollars. One of those door protectors was off a hinge, $350 to fix it. To replace the dashboard cover (The black part that sits on top of the odometer and music equipment and air vents, etc), which Lexus cheated me on a recall and never mailed me and now has splotches and cracks, $3700+. To fix the rubber liners on the back door, $300+. I have done the research on the parts and they are not expensive at all. No one in their logical mind would fix things here. This is not a review for my service manager - Mario who well knowledgeable, courteous and showed empathy. I feel someone needs to open a case with the BBB to determine the service prices at Lexus because they are doing robbery in broad daylight and ripping off their customers. If this is a systemic issue in Lexus and across all locations, then maybe people shouldn't buy Lexus cars. If you need to go to find a normal mechanic and pay half or a 1/3rd of the prices quoted in the same locale, then what value is Lexus Service providing besides ripping people off - they are supposed to know to their cars the best but at the expense of these outrageous prices. Don't ever go here. Thanks for listening. In any case Lexus sucks - never buying a Lexus again. More

Excellent service! I reluctantly brought in my car with an unusual and sporadic “squawking “ noise from my brakes. I didn’t think they would diagnose my poor symptomatic I reluctantly brought in my car with an unusual and sporadic “squawking “ noise from my brakes. I didn’t think they would diagnose my poor symptomatic car. But the tech was able to pick up on the very first “squawk”. To make this story short, Lexus of Daly City and my assigned service consultant , Dante Navarro, took care of this issue expediently. I was on my way with a loaner car and my car was ready the following day. He kept me abreast of the repair and explained everything to me. This experience was very non-stressful and Dante and the entire Lexus team were very professional and accommodating. I have been a Lexus owner for over 20 years and will continue to be one.
