Not just the E300 mechanical issues but also getting a service appointment and the terrible treatment I was receiving. I drove to Lexus, traded in my Mercedes, and have been happy ever since. First of all, the Lexus is a better car, I've had two. You don't have issues. Maintenance, that's it. That is my experience. Also, Lexus of Serramonte has a service supervisor Dean De Castro who is the best in the business. He is a big reason I stick with going back to the Serramonte Service Dept. even though I live very near a foreign auto service business. He is straightforward and if he can save you a few dollars when something is not necessary, he will never "up-sell you". Honesty goes a long way. The whole operation is first class.
