I happily purchased/leased a new beautiful ES 350 from lexus of Santa Fe. 90 days later the car was no longer driveable. It has a bad/faulty transmission and I found myself stranded on the side of the fre lexus of Santa Fe. 90 days later the car was no longer driveable. It has a bad/faulty transmission and I found myself stranded on the side of the freeway "Terrified!". I did not want my NEW $40,000 car to be "fixed" I asked to be placed into a new car being that mine was "new" and only 3 months had gone by...... The people namely the owner af Albuquerque/Santa Fe Lexus did not want to help me unless I paid $3000 to get into a new car. Why? This was not my fault and Lexus admitted it was not my fault but wouldn't help me unless I was willing to (of course) spend more money. I am very sad because the car was what I wanted and had been a loyal Lexus/Toyota customer for years. I walk away knowing that yes things happen, no company can be perfect but how the situation was handled by the people at the Local Lexus was shameful....I unfortunately can never drive a LEXUS again. In life material things are great but pride and self respect are priceless. More
