My husband and I first visited Lexus of Route 10 in early March; we were looking for a "new" car for me. My husband is a loyal Toyota owner and encouraged me to consider a Lexus. Not being very familiar with the options (I like smaller cars), we went to explore. We were quickly introduced to our salesperson, Joe Fass. (I actually recognized Joe from my on-line research! I had options for dealerships, but was impressed by Lexus of Route 10's feedback on sites like DealerRater.com. Joe comes right up on that site, so I had seen his picture!) Joe is a people person who truly loves what he does. He engaged us in conversation about the Certified Pre-Owned program, answered questions about the CT 200h and IS 250/350, and reveled us with many stories of his years of experience in the industry, his grandchildren, and fishing. Joe cares about people and insuring they have a positive experience is his primary goal. Unable to test drive on this busy Saturday, I made plans to return. I visited Lexus of Route 10 again on Good Friday in order to test drive the IS 250 AWD; I had completed a TON of research and felt it could potentially be my next car. The test drive worked as I decided the IS 250 AWD would be a great car for me! I briefly began to look at the CPO cars available, but time was not on my side. Coupled with hectic morning and leaving for vacation the next day, I had to promise Joe I would return after our spring break. In the meantime, I continued to visit Lexus of Route 10's website to assess the CPO options. I had my eye on one car that I had peeked into on my Good Friday visit, so I was hopeful of the opportunity to test drive it. My husband and I returned to Lexus of Route 10 and to see Joe on Saturday, April 13, 2013. We spent several minutes assessing the IS 250 AWD inventory and narrowed it down to several to test drive. Ultimately, I was so happy with the first car I test drove that that was the one we purchased. (Yes, it was the car I had peeked at two weeks earlier; I was lucky it was still there! I knew it wouldn't be for long as Lexus would be offering 0.9% financing on CPOs beginning on Monday! I had my own financing in place or I would have taken advantage of the rate. Note that I knew of the financing offer as Joe had called me on Friday!) Buying a car is stressful even under the best of circumstances. It really isn't something we enjoy at all! However, we were appreciative of the service and attention we received from everyone at Lexus of Route 10. Joe Fass is a terrific, genuine person who we felt like we had known forever! He introduced us to a number of equally nice people during each visit and was attentive, never made us feel rushed, and explained everything we could ever need to know about our purchase. With Joe's help, I was able to drive my new-to-me (but truly just like new) 2010 IS 250 AWD home on Saturday. And Joe was correct, it already feels like I have driven the car forever! Marc Berger should also be recognized as he "delivered" my new car to us on Saturday. He was terrific and it was fun to learn about all of the new, exciting things my car can do! Marc synced my iPhone 5 for contacts and music, showed me all about how to work the maps on the Navigation center, and so much more! He did help make the end of the purchase fun. All in all, Lexus of Route 10 delivered. Joe Fass was easy and delightful to work with and the entire car buying experience was positive.
