Mr. Stoytchev, I wanted to take this opportunity to address some of the concerns you have brought to the attention of the online community. The swivel motor which is failing is located within the headlamp assembly as a whole and cannot be installed separately. The entire assembly must be replaced. Our technicians performed an accurate diagnosis, which included checking for any related wiring concerns. There are none. This is why once you unplugged the connector and plugged it in again the light went off. This was a simple reset that I assure you, will not solve your problem. Much like disconnecting a battery will often reset a check engine light, that AFS light will return, and full swivel motor failure will follow. We do not make such recommendations lightly, and no member of this staff would ever state "it will ONLY cost $2100..." We understand the costs involved in certain repairs and respect the fact that they can be expensive. I would never recommend either attempting to purchase an assembly such as this on the internet, as those parts are aftermarket, flood damaged, taken from totaled cars, etc. As far as the installation, the majority of the cost of this repair is the part, and I assure you, when done properly, it does not take 15 minutes to complete. Regarding the necessary brake work, we did not "get brakes out of you". Part of your concern when bringing your vehicle in for service was a mention of a grinding noise when applying the brakes. The brake work needed to be completed because the pad depth was nearly non-existent. In addition, no reputable repair facility would ever just replace brake pads. Brake rotors need to be resurfaced in order to provide a smooth surface for the pads to brake against, or the new pads that you have just paid to replace would wear 3 times as fast. In your case, the rotors had already been resurfaced, and to resurface them further would be dangerous. Regarding these and all issues raised, I have complete confidence in our team, and the services they perform. Despite my efforts to discuss this with you personally, I unfortunately have not heard back from you.
