A BIG SHOUT OUT TO CHRIS LAWSON Service advisor @ Lexus of Roseville! I initially talked to Chris on the phone for a quote on replacing the water pump in my Rx350. After our conversation, I called around of Roseville! I initially talked to Chris on the phone for a quote on replacing the water pump in my Rx350. After our conversation, I called around to see what others would charge and was surprised find the price Chris had quoted me was close to what the others were charging, so I thought why not take to the dealer. Interesting enough when I called Chris back later that day, he told me the price he quoted was off by $200 dollars. Oops so much for being surprised. But before I had time to think about whether I heard him correctly or not Chris apologized for the miss quote and told me he would stick with the original price he quoted me. Well, he had my vote! So, it's Friday, close to closing time so Chris tells me I can drop my car off Saturday morning. Sounds good I told him, but I need my SUV to move some equipment on Saturday. No problem we'll provide you with a loaner. Really...and an SUV? No problem, I see you in the morning he said. So, when I arrived at Lexus of Roseville on Saturday morning, I mentioned to Chris about the SUV loaner... no problem he said. I've got you taken care of. In fact, I'm going give you the nicest one we have. I almost choked on my coffee... Really? Yeah, it's an RX500H F sport. Cool... it looked like something out of Star Wars. It had as many accessories as you could possibly cram into a car and still be legal. It's funny, they pulled out a map that limits you to a radius of 75 miles. I couldn't find Carmel anywhere on it. Before I knew it, Chris is calling me back later that afternoon... Your car is fixed, washed and ready to pick up. Oops, I was enjoying the loaner so much I almost forgot about my car being serviced. My high school son said, "Dad... we can't give this back. You need to buy it!" What??? Thanks, Chris, for blowing this thing out of the box for us and turning an otherwise average day into Funsville! This was one trip to the cash register I didn't mind! It's like going to a good restaurant with great food and great service. It's well worth the bill! Thanks again!!! More
