My wife and I needed to purchase a car to replace a vehicle that we totaled in a car accidet. We contacted Amir Fazal, who was recommended by a friend of ours in Portland. Amir thought that we had the ideal car and was working diligently throught the details so that we could have an intelligent discussion on pricing. Unfortunately, the auto he had in mind was sold. Therefore we switched our thoughts to leasing an automobile. From the time we made that decision it took only 3+ hours to wrap up the transaction and get on the road back to Olympia, Washington. Clearly, this sale was not Amir's 'first trip to the rodeo." he shepherded the deal through the various dealership departments and made the process transparent and painless. We thoroughly enjoyed working with him - and I can honestly say that I've never, ever said that before about a car salesman. Last week ,I spoke with Charles Jaffee about the 2003 530i bmw that was for sale. So I came in on Thursday last week to test drive the car. Charles was off that day so I spoke with Lana Tran. I asked her to test drive the car and she went to look for the keys and said the keys could not be found. I thought she would still let me see the car anyway , but she didn't. I felt that was odd for a large Lexus dealership not to be prepared. Next, I asked her to appraise my 08 suv while we shop for other cars in my price range. So, she showed me a 05 white lexus es330 for sale. Later, I found out that the carfax showed the car was involved in a accident. The next day Charles called and said he was sorry about the keys and will get one made and give me a call. I would like to mention he never called me back. If this is the way your salesmen treat their customers it doesn't say a lot for customer service.Later,someone email me and said the car was sold. At this time, I feel that I will never shop this dealership again. More

I have been looking for a previously owned RX330 since the first of the year. My first experience with Lexus of Portland was with another sales person and I felt very taken advantage of. I took my Lexus in to have the brakes looked at because of some squeaking. Normally I don't really care for dealing with the average service department - usually because it can be associated with bad or un of some squeaking. Normally I don't really care for dealing with the average service department - usually because it can be associated with bad or unexpected news. Lexus of Portland is very different. You are scheduled with a Service Associate and they are your main point of contact and keep you updated throughout the visit. I worked with Don when I dropped my car off in the morning, and he was able to get me on my way by being quick and efficient. I was given a loaner vehicle and was offered by Don to be shown anything I needed to know about that vehicle. After leaving the dealership, he kept in contact a few times to let me know the status of the repair and parts needed, then when it was completed. When I came in to pick up my car, the car was all washed and vacuumed. I handed over the keys to the loaner, two signatures, and was briefly explained what was completed, was told to call him if I had any questions or concerns, then was on my way within 10 minutes of arrival. The whole customer service experience was fantastic. This is what other dealerships and companies should be striving for. And I hope I don't have to take my car in for service much, if I do, I know I will be well taken care of. Thank you! More
