Worst car buying experience of my life. Never have I ever had a car purchase take over a month and a half. The first guy I dealt with didn't even seem to want to sell the car at all. I was buying out of state, and he refused to let me ship the car and wouldn't take a penny off the sticker price. So not only was he over stepping his authority over me paying to ship the car. He was demanding that I fly to the car, put 1200 miles on it before even having it inspected in my state, which is false advertising if he's not going to drop the price. He also called me randomly to say he couldn't release the car for 30 days. What are you, a pawn shop? If someone walked in 5 minutes after this phone call and wanted the car, the car would be gone. I said look if you don't want to sell the car, there's another one just like it in Connecticut. He said you don't want to buy a car from there with the salt air. I said and what, is your car going to come with a side of alligator? You're in Palm Beach. You have salt air too, moron. I got a hold of the owner who said we could ship the car and set me up with someone else. Problem with the new guy is he had a punishing lack of urgency and wouldn't communicate with me. Every time we'd finish a step, we'd have to wait at least 26 hours for a response. Most of the time we'd have to call and hound him for an answer or the next step. He'd set a deadline for something to happen on his end, fail to meet that deadline, and not call me to tell me he couldn't meet the deadline. Just leaving me in the dark. He'd also come to me with last minute things that could have been handled at the beginning of the process, saying he can't release the car until I complete them. Delaying me further and further. Then even after I get the car I have to hound him for the title. A car that I was very excited for in the beginning, became a source of immense stress; and now I can't look at the car without being reminded of all this nonsense. I would sooner light myself on fire before doing business with Lexus of Palm Beach again. More
