They worked with me to get the price down and now I know why they lowered it...they sold me a damaged and unsafe vehicle. I purchased and drove the car home on Saturday 10/13 and didn’t drive it again until Monday 10/15 and discovered the engine was shaking and when I accelerated it made a loud clinking and grinding sound. I couldn’t even drive home, I had to go to my parents and that’s when my dad took a look at it and said it wasn’t safe to drive. I called the dealership to explain what I was hearing and I said “you sold me a broken car and I don’t want it anymore” the manager, Corey, said “let’s not jump to conclusions here”. From that point on getting in touch with someone to help me was impossible. I had to use Lexus headquarters to get Corey on the phone and Jim Hughes never even called me to apologize or to rectify the issue. I got the car towed myself and made arrangements for Volkswagen to repair it on my own. I found that the “dog bone” had lost all its bolts and that’s what I was hearing. When I arrived at the Volkswagen service department the service man put the car on the lift and explained to me what I was hearing and said that the trans pan is also dented and scratched and upon looking at it it appears that someone took this car off-roading, because there are blades of grass on the bottom of the car and broken plastic with dirt and grass stuck in it. Either someone at “prestige” lexus didn’t look at this or saw it and didnt care, because I know little to nothing about cars and it was the first thing I saw. It gets better, the serviceman at Volkswagen called Prestige Lexus to pay for the “dog bone” and no one would take his call (like mine) and the only reason why he got in touch with the manager at Lexus was because the service manager at Volkswagen had the prestige Lexus managers number (Jim Hughes) and Jim wasn’t going to even pay for the repairs, but the Volkswagen manager felt bad for me given I hadn’t even had the car for 48 hours so he said he would cover labor if Jim covered the parts and that Jim agreed to. All the while, i missed work for two days and I had to have my dog sitter come and take care of my dogs because i was stuck at my parents house. Lexus’ regional manager spoke with Jim about getting me a loaner car or a rental and he refused. I have never IN MY LIFE encountered such unprofessionalism! I still never heard from Jim and I haven’t heard from Corey since Monday. The fact of the matter is, is they sold me an unsafe car and their behavior tells me how guilty they are of it and that they knew what they were selling me. I still need the trans pan replaced and if they do not pay for it now, I’ll take them to small claims court and get it that way and I KNOW I will win, because these people are in the wrong and they are taking advantage of a woman. I have reported this business to the Better Business Bureau, the attorney general, and the DMV. I plan to also put reviews up on google and Yelp of this isn’t resolved immediately. More

Melissa Horan sales representative, made this purchase a Life TIME EXPERIENCE from the minute I walked into the dealership. Explaining everything I needed to know about the vehicle. She not only focused on making the sale but she went beyond customer service. I then was directed to the financial center where I was attended by Matt; it was the best experience of my life, he explained to me everything I need to know about my purchase. This delearship made me feel no only like a customer but more than a family. I wish there was a 10 stars reating so I can give to them. More
