Hello Elise, We are sorry to hear that you feel like you received poor service while visiting Prestige Lexus of Middletown. In speaking with the Service advisor that you had dealt with, we understand that you had advised him that you had a regular mechanic that services your vehicle and that you were just bringing in the vehicle for the recalls. Which we are completely ok with and would never pressure you to use our services. According to your adviser, the following was work was performed and discussed with you: *I warned her that her tires are dangerous as is, 0/32nds is below NYS minimum safety standards of 2/32nds. *I volunteered pricing for that as well as advising her that the front axle boots were leaking and would need to be replaced before she attempts to pass New York state inspection when it comes due in January of 2019. *In addition to that, she was notified that we had found severe rodent intrusion. It was documented in the following attachment with 7 photos of the vehicle while we performed the recalls on her vehicle. *The other recommendations were for regular maintenance. *She also requested a quote for her driver side mirror assembly as it was cracked(damaged when someone side swiped her vehicle) which I provided. After this conversation I asked if she would like to perform any of this work with us and she politely declined. Following that I let her know that even if she didn't perform the work with us, that it is very important she address her tires. Not just for her safety, but others on the road as well. She left in a good mood knowing she had a bullet point list to go off of for any work for her tech to address. I am saddened if she felt pressured at any point in time but I never went out of my way to force her to perform anything with the exception of taking care of her tires with her mechanic after our talk.
