My wife and I have had financial problems and were looking for a way to lower our payment.We found a vehicle online and called to set an appointment.(the person we spoke to on the phone was not the pe looking for a way to lower our payment.We found a vehicle online and called to set an appointment.(the person we spoke to on the phone was not the person we dealt with)When we arrived at the dealer the car was(Suprise)clean and inside for us to look at.After we drove it,the salesman had ourcar looked at.I must say that I feel the value was very low on our car,but the salesman tried his best to explain how they figure things out.(for the record,I confess that all four dealers we went to had about the same number.Thay all seem to need to make as much as possible off of our trade)We tried to haggle fora bit,but they said the price on ourcar and their car was firm.The thing that really frustrated me was that they didn't try to sell me the car.I was told by Dan that due to our trade in and creditsituation it was" HIGHLY UNLIKELY"we could obtain financing.I asked him to run it by his finance manager and see if we could find a way to make it work.He told me he would,but that it would not change the situation with our credit.At the time I considered this rude of him,but after the way his finance manager reacted,I see why he didn't want to go into his office.I heard everything he said to the salesman,and was put off by his demeanor.The finance manager came out to us and offered to "call us in to the banks",but again offered very bleak results.Since it seemed pretty hopeless,we decided to try one of the dealers who said "no problem."Lexus of Naperville actually washed our car for us,so at least we didn't waste our time.The dealer we went to in Chicago was much more eager to work with us.They took our trade in and deposit and we left in our Lexus.The problem arose when we were informed 2 WEEKS LATER that we neede about $10000.00 moredown or we had to give them THEIR CAR BACK!So now we had to return the car,wait to get our deposit back,and explain to my family why we no longer have our new car,but have our old Jaguar back.There should be a law against deceptive dealer practices.I'm sure the plan all along was to sell our car so we had to come up with more money.I would leave them a bad review,but I think people who have been there know how they conduct business.My thanks to Dan Foster,Bill,and Lexus of Naperville for trying to help us,and not making us look like fools.When we get thingsstraightened out with our finances,they will be one of our first calls,and I will certanly recommend them to people I know. More

This is my first Lexus and thus far, I've had the car about a month, I am very pleased. All the folks at Lexus of Naperville were great. Michael Comer was a great sales consultant to work with-very honest, knowledgeable and patient. Michael answered all my questions and alleviated all my concerns. We took several test drives and never hesitated when I said I needed one more (it was between a Lexus or BMW). Michael even helped me sync my Blackberry use my Bluetooth and other options. He and Lexus of Naperville are wonderful! More
Shame on me, I guess I should not have expected the Lexus dealer experience to somewhat different from other dealers. It wasn't. My experience wasn't any different from what you'd expect from the slipperly dealer experience to somewhat different from other dealers. It wasn't. My experience wasn't any different from what you'd expect from the slipperly sales people you'd see at your local Chevy dealer -- long on promise, short on performance. A couple of examples: I bought a CPO'd GS350 in July 2009. As expected, it was a very nice car in great condition. However, I did notice a small chip on the driver's side front quarter panel. I mentioned this to the sales guy, Mark Malak. "No problem!", he said, "we'll take care of that". Never did. I got two key fobs with my car. One came in a nice leather pouch. Without my saying anything, Mark Malak volunteered to get me another one for the other key fob. Not a big deal, but a nice gesture, I thought. Never did. As part of my purchase, Mark Malak agreed to have the iPod connection installed. He told me he'd call me in a couple of days to set up the service appointment. I waited 2 weeks and never heard from him. I followed up with the service department myself. More problematic: I did not finance my car, but bought it outright. However, I was not provided with the title. I asked and was told the title comes from the state and takes about 6 weeks. Today, 11 weeks later, I still haven't received the title. I called the dealership and left a message. I got a call back a while later and was told, no, it takes 12 weeks. And, by the way, they didn't submit the documentation to the state until mid-Aug. -- 2 weeks after I bought it. So, now I guess I'm supposed to wait until Nov or Dec to get the title for a car I bought in July. More

I had been looking for a used IS 350 for months, unable to find one with the exact set of options I wanted. I went to dealers all over my home state of NC and was very discouraged by the lack of responsiv to find one with the exact set of options I wanted. I decided to start looking online and expand my search to other states, and that's when I found the perfect car at Lexus of Naperville. I had never bought a car online, sight unseen, and was a little nervous about the process. Dan became my main point of communication and was absolutely incredible to work with! He seemed genuinely eager to help get answers to my questions and was very quick to respond to phone calls or emails. Very nice to talk to over the phone, and as I found out when I went to pick up the car, even nicer in person! I never felt like I was being pushed into something I didn't want. He made the whole process go very smoothly. It made me wish I lived in Naperville so I could bring my car back to him for service! Hands down the most genuine car salesman I have ever dealt with. Dan has earned my loyalty and I know that any question I have he will be able to answer for me. I think the thing I love the most is the laid back non-pushy salesman attitude that they have here. I've walked out of other dealerships for this and I can guarantee this is the one place this will not happen.
