Just bought a Certified Used Lexus from Lexus of Naperville. I was looking for a used Lexus but something with very low miles. I had a few options on purchases. Buy from an auction , buy from a smal Naperville. I was looking for a used Lexus but something with very low miles. I had a few options on purchases. Buy from an auction , buy from a small used car dealer and buy from a reputed Lexus dealer. I tried all of them. I tried to buy the car from an auction. Thinking it would be cheap and I would get a good car I decided that route. Not so lucky. Good thing I did not get it through that route. Overall it would have turned out to be more expensive with all the work that I would have to do on the car. Then I went to a small car dealer looking at the sweet price on the web. I could literally see paint on the front lights. Some residues from the paint that they might have done in making that car look like new. Even my daughter who is 6 could tell that. Walked out. So the wife suggested we stop by Lexus of Naperville. I was hesitant thinking they will have cars with high prices and overall would not fit in my budget. I also had researched online. But the wife insisted. We drove in to be greeted by one of the Sales staff. Nick Gerlak. He asked us what we were looking for and I gave him my specs and within seconds he started us showing what he had for our budget and miles. We test drove a couple. With no pressure he also explained us the benefits of getting a certified car versus anything from the streets which absolutely made sense for a long term user. We liked a golden car and he promised to work with us on that car. It was getting dark and I did not want to buy a car in the night hours. We promised to come back next day. We did. AND the car we liked in the evening was sold by the time we got there next morning. All that happens happens for the good. My wife had a crush for one of the other colors and we let Nick know that. We test drove it and liked it. Now comes the worst part of what people have to face at a dealers. But mine went smooth. Couple things helped my self and the sales person. I told him what my budget was. I also told him what my bank had approved for my loan and at what rate and what would be monthly payment and what down payment was I going to put down. My hats off to him and the finance manager. They managed to make the deal happen. I got a certified car with 100K warranty with only a few dollars more on my monthly payment. I got a great rate of interest. I take the car home and next day drive it to work only to find out the music from the mp3 jack was not that great. My Iphone played fine otherwise. I emailed Nick. Within five minutes he wrote back to me to stop in next day and promised to take a look only to find out the next day that it was my cable that was at fault:-) Two more days go by and I suddenly noticed that the passenger side light bulb was not working. I took a picture right then and emailed it to Nick. I also called him. He was very gracious to help and told me to bring in the car next morning. I did it the next evening. Nick was off and I told of my problem at the service desk. With smiles they took the car in and 10 minutes latter came back saying I was all set. Replaced the front HID bulb for no cost. Now this is what I call service. If I had gotten a car from any body else I would be missing on all of these services and every time something like this happened I would have to choke out more money and time. So folks if you read this remember we pay a little bit more but that is for quality and service. My investment is definitely worth it. Lexus ES350 is a great car. I get about 29 mile driving half freeway and half city. Feels so good to drive it. More
I would highly recomend Lexus of Naperville to anyone looking for a New or Used Lexus. Their friendly staff along with a helpful service department makes the purchase and upkeep of your car very enjoyabl looking for a New or Used Lexus. He was very energentic and not pushy like a lot of car sales men. He spent time asking me what I was looking for in my car and was very helpful. I was looking for a dependable used car for my daughter who's a college student. We went to at least 7 auto dealers in the Chicago area. The cars we saw were dented, scratched, smelly and one made a weird noise when we test drove it. On the second or third day of searching, it was late in the evening, I told my daughter we have to go farther out into the suburbs to find a decent car. We had seen one on the internet at Lexus of Naperville. By the time we arrived, it was 8:30 p.m. and I thought it was too late. The receptionist and the sales person told us not to worry they had plenty of time. I'm so glad we stopped in and didn't leave Naperville that night. Dan did an excellent job showing us the car (the one that was on the internet). The car was clean, inside and out. It had low mileage, the engine was clean, the tires had low wear and it drove smooth. We knew this was the right car, bought it and drove it home that night. Megan has been driving her "cute" car everywhere and I know she's thrilled even though she keeps her feelings low-key. If I'm in the market for another car, I'll go back to Lexus of Naperville and request Dan Foster's assistance. He did an excellent job in a short amount of time. Thanks again. More

Dan took the haggling and anxiety out of the car-buying experience, and has provided great follow-up since I purchased my vehicle. In the past, I have worked with other Lexus dealers in the area, but have come to prefer the Naperville dealership because of its excellent service, friendly staff and great amenities. More

It was a completely different experience, actually enjoyable. We left feeling like we were cared for. So when it was time to replace my car, we honestly didn't even look anywhere else. I emailed Dan and told him what I was looking for and we bought our second car from Dan Foster at Lexus Naperville. I can honestly say that I do not plan on buying a car anywhere else. Dan was excellent. We came in on a Saturday a few minutes after closing. They still unlocked the door and assisted us. Dan was perfect!! He didn't rush us at all. The sales approach is helpful and friendly (not pressure-packed). I am so incredibly impressed with this dealership that I can't imagine ever buying a car anywhere else. Without negotiation, this dealer quoted a fantastic price on my latest car. They came up with a price on exactly what I wanted....I compared the offer with multiple other dealers and found Lexus of Naperville to be well below all others. They followed up appropiately, never pressured, and gave me the space and time I needed to make a major financial decision such as this. The other dealers I visited wanted to know "what would it take to get me in a car today".....always making me feeling that this was a competition at negotiation vs. getting a fair and equitable deal on a good vehicle. At Lexus of Naperville, the honesty and professionalism allowed me to concentrate on what car I wanted, not the deal I was getting! My wife and I have had financial problems and were looking for a way to lower our payment.We found a vehicle online and called to set an appointment.(the person we spoke to on the phone was not the pe looking for a way to lower our payment.We found a vehicle online and called to set an appointment.(the person we spoke to on the phone was not the person we dealt with)When we arrived at the dealer the car was(Suprise)clean and inside for us to look at.After we drove it,the salesman had ourcar looked at.I must say that I feel the value was very low on our car,but the salesman tried his best to explain how they figure things out.(for the record,I confess that all four dealers we went to had about the same number.Thay all seem to need to make as much as possible off of our trade)We tried to haggle fora bit,but they said the price on ourcar and their car was firm.The thing that really frustrated me was that they didn't try to sell me the car.I was told by Dan that due to our trade in and creditsituation it was" HIGHLY UNLIKELY"we could obtain financing.I asked him to run it by his finance manager and see if we could find a way to make it work.He told me he would,but that it would not change the situation with our credit.At the time I considered this rude of him,but after the way his finance manager reacted,I see why he didn't want to go into his office.I heard everything he said to the salesman,and was put off by his demeanor.The finance manager came out to us and offered to "call us in to the banks",but again offered very bleak results.Since it seemed pretty hopeless,we decided to try one of the dealers who said "no problem."Lexus of Naperville actually washed our car for us,so at least we didn't waste our time.The dealer we went to in Chicago was much more eager to work with us.They took our trade in and deposit and we left in our Lexus.The problem arose when we were informed 2 WEEKS LATER that we neede about $10000.00 moredown or we had to give them THEIR CAR BACK!So now we had to return the car,wait to get our deposit back,and explain to my family why we no longer have our new car,but have our old Jaguar back.There should be a law against deceptive dealer practices.I'm sure the plan all along was to sell our car so we had to come up with more money.I would leave them a bad review,but I think people who have been there know how they conduct business.My thanks to Dan Foster,Bill,and Lexus of Naperville for trying to help us,and not making us look like fools.When we get thingsstraightened out with our finances,they will be one of our first calls,and I will certanly recommend them to people I know.
