Dan and the staff at Naperville of Lexus was so outstanding that my wife told me "We are buying all our cars from here on out from Dan." The complete experience from vehicle selection, test drive, pricing, and closing the sale was so pleasurable and painless that I can not begin to stress how pleased I was with this car purchase. hese guys are crooks!!! DO NOT GO HERE. I have a Black 2004 Lexus GS 300 that was not accelerating. I took it into them so that I can find out exactly what the problem is. They did a diagnostics and recei 2004 Lexus GS 300 that was not accelerating. I took it into them so that I can find out exactly what the problem is. They did a diagnostics and received 2 codes (P0102 and P0113), these are codes for Mass Air Flow Circuit Low and Intake Air Temp. They told me I need to replace the transmission. Replace the TRANSMISSION??? Gave me a quote for $9199.28. I asked them how they determined that I have a bad transmission and they said it's based on the tech driving the car. They charged me $131 and really couldn't give me anything positive about what the problem is. I searched on Craigslist for a transmission mechanic, gave him my car and asked him to diagnose it (which he did for free). He said it's NOT your transmission, it's your Catalytic converter and he can prove it by boaring out the honey comb in it. This proved there was nothing wrong with the transmission because the car ran fine (a little muffler noise but ran fine). I bought an aftermarket Catalytic converter and had him replace it. Total cost $400. I called Pete the Service Manager to tell him that they charged me for an incorrect diagnostic. He simply said that HE CANNOT REFUND MY $131.00. IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY, ITS THE PRINCIPLE. If I didn't do the leg work to find out what really is wrong with my car they would have charged me $10,000 and still have the same problem with the car. We just drove home in our "new" car and are happy as can be. Dan Foster was great and unlike any other car dealer we have worked with. He was not pushy or overbearing. He seemed geniunely interested in selling us a quality vehicle that fit our budget. It was the little things he did that really deserve some recognition. First, we were able to take the car overnight and really see how it drove and handled as well as take it to our mechanic friend to have him check it out. When we returned with a concern about the radio, Dan took the car out for a spin himself to determine the cause of the problem. He truly made sure that every concern was addressed before we agreed on a price. Dan was personable, humerous and consciencious. I would recommend this dealership and specifically Dan to all of my family and friends! More
Sent an inquiry through their web site for a certified pre-owned Lexus. Received an email from John Walters saying they would send another email with information about the vehicle I was interested in and pre-owned Lexus. I didn't receive a response, so I emailed back. I had specific quesitons about the vehicle. No response to that email either. There are many dealers out there who are much more responsive to customers. Try one. More
I can only say good things about Sal Lala and the Dealership. They went out of their way to help make things easier in buying a Pre-Owned Automoble. The only thing I did not like was Having the full wire the dealership the money for the full purchase price, that seemed to bee the only way I could secure the Car. On the other hand Sal Lala did a Great job of looking the car over for me and I did have a Clean CarFax Report. Again I cannot say enough Good Things about Sal. My girlfriend enjoyed the chocolates his daughter made for his customers. I will def, return here when I'm the market for a new vehicle, I would also refer my friends family to this dealership , and have them ask for Scott by name. Bruce and Paul are also great to work with, they gave me advice and were able to help me my finacial situation. I was surprised at the level of service i received, because i was buying a used car, not even of a Lexus make. They even let me use a Lexus loaner, while they handled a minor repair on my vehicle. I've purchased cars from other dealerships in the past but this one takes the cake. While servicing my car they allowed me to use a Lexus loaner even tho I had no purchased a new car. They took care of the problem with promptness and professionalism. I will def be back to purchase a new vehicle when I am back in the market. Happened to visit this place during the holiday season and these guys made it memorable on a wrong side. I did interact with a sales person called Paul and I guess he needs to get some training on how to and these guys made it memorable on a wrong side. I guess this dealer ship spends more time in making their snack bar elegant but they should really work on their sales reps and train them on how to understand the customers’ needs and being polite with them. I said, this is the first time ever I am buying a Lexus and may be they don’t want to serve such customers. When I try to negotiate the price, he says “if you say ‘please’ – I give you 100 bucks”. WTH. That’s half of my hourly income. And his manager (some lady, again dressed up well) seems to be entertaining him. That’s more frustrating. Definitely not a nice experience. But I visited the McGrath later and then Infiniti Naperville and Acura Naperville. Glad, I visited those places. Otherwise I would have never accepted a car sales person as a normal human being (:.Those other places were nice, people were good, polite and even they contacted me after my visit asking about my experience with them. But I haven’t received any follow up from this Naperville Lexus. May be they are busy in finding customers who say ‘Please’ for 100 bucks More
Great car buying experience! Our sales rep- Hani Dolat was super friendly and very, very professional! We were very impressed by him- he really made this purchase one we feel really good about.
