4/28/21 I called and asked to speak with a sales manager. Was told they would call me back. Get a call back turns out it’s a salesman. No big deal. I explained my interest in the vehicle I purchased. I also explained how I am also a car salesman at a dealership in the small town I live in. Told them I know the process and would like this to be an easy thing. Give them the info on my trade in which case they tell me the give KBB trade-in values. Get numbers put together with my trade involved. They did not give me what the KBB value was($5,700-7,400). But they did give me what I thought was a fair value on my vehicle. Get money moved around on my end and they drove the vehicle up to me. The vehicle arrives at my house and it’s not in the shape they had described it to me. Asked the salesman to call his sales manager. Talk with the sales manager and iron out something that would work for both of us. A $499 check. Sign the documents and they told me I would receive my copies by email. I have not to this writing received a copy of my documents from the sale of the vehicle. Fast forward a few days and I go and check to see that my plates had been transferred over properly and surprises they were still registered to my trade-in. So I am driving around with no proof of purchase on plates that are not registered to my vehicle. Texted salesman and he told me that they are working on it. Texted the sales manager about my check and never get a response. Call dealership 1 week after purchase to talk to sales manager and ask where my check was. Was told that my trade-in wasn’t in the condition I said it was in. ( I was never asked what condition my trade-in was in)Asked him how so. Was informed that the tires on my vehicle were shot. Tires were put on the trade-in vehicle within the last 6 months. (I work at a dealership and have all the service records for said trade). Call him out on it and he tells me I am wrong. (also why did I not get a phone call about not getting the check due to an issue with my trade-in?)Ask to speak to the General manager who is not in for the day. I can appreciate having a day off if you had to work with all of these complaints I am seeing. Asked the sales manager to pass my information along to the general manager for a call the next when he is available. We will see tomorrow if I get this call. The process and negotiations of purchasing the vehicle were good. I did ask the salesman if there was anything wrong with the vehicle before he came and he had told me that there wasn’t. He should have disclosed the issue that was found before he made the 3-hour trip to deliver it to me. Other than that small thing which I thought we had worked through the experience was good. The aftercare and follow-up with the $499 check were horrible and due to that, I would not recommend buying or dealing with a vehicle with this dealership. I do hope the general manager will reach out to me so we can work through this issue. Also paid for a 172 point inspection the next day and was told both control arms(moderate) in the front are near end of life and there is a transmission output shaft seepage(minor). More

I came in the store to view a vechicle and to test drive one. I had the pleasure of meeting a nice young man who was very informative about the vechicle.
