Unhappy buying experience I ordered a new RX Hybrid in January with some special features. The then-Sales Manager was confident that it would arrive before we left Florida on May 1 for our summer home, and promised to deliver it to our Northern address at the dealership's expense if it didn't, since we planned to drive it north and leave our other car in Florida. Well, it didn't arrive until mid May, after we had driven home in the other car. When the car finally arrived and I inquired about the shipping arrangements, the new General Manager refused to honor the commitment. He insisted that the only way that I could get the car that I had ordered was to ship it North at my expense (or go down to Florida at my expense and drive it North). I like the car, but that is to the credit of the manufacturer, not the dealer. So, if I were you, I'd use caution in sales transactions. In contrast, I've been satisfied with the service department for my older Lexus. More
