My Experience Today was nothing short of CRIMINAL… It started out with my 7:00 a.m., service appointment. I arrived at Lexus of Manhattan Dealership for my 7:00 a.m. appointment to have my car ‘inspecte started out with my 7:00 a.m., service appointment. I arrived at Lexus of Manhattan Dealership for my 7:00 a.m. appointment to have my car ‘inspected’ (not serviced) and a complimentary car wash, only to be told that the mechanics do not arrive until 8:00 a.m. and that my car would not be ready until 9:30 a.m. When making the appointment, I had informed the representative that I would be waiting for my car and that I needed to be at work by 9:00 a.m., to which she assured me that would not be an issue. Needless to say, my car was not ready until approximately 9:20 a.m., and they did not provide the complimentary car wash as promised. I ended up getting to work a little after 10:00 a.m. HERE’S THE CRIMINAL PART Shortly after 10:00 a.m., I started receiving telephone calls on my cellphone from an unknown number. I was already late for work and was not in a position to answer the call. After about the third call, I picked up the phone and was told by JEREMY that one of the mechanics had left their cellphone in my car (WHY HE HAD HIS CELLPHONE IN MY CAR FOR A SIMPLE INSPECTION IS BEYOND ME) and wanted to know if I could meet up with him. I was already late for work, I had Client meeting and a firm deadline to meet by 2:00 p.m. I had explained to JEREMY that I worked a good 30 minutes away from the dealership and that my car was parked in a parking garage a good several blocks away (about 12-18 minutes walking distance) and could not leave work but was willing to meet him after I got off work at the parking garage. JEREMY proceeded to bombard my cellphone with calls (after I had told him I was busy with work and not in the position to deal with the situation, as I was in a meeting with a Client). When I stopped answering his phone calls, he had an unknown man call me several times. Around 3:20 p.m. I called JEREMY so that we could meet up, only to be told by him that HE FIXED THE PROBLEM. JEREMY without my consent or authorization went to the parking garage where my car was, presented himself as a LEXUS OF MANHATTAN representative, telling the parking attendants that he needed to gain access to my vehicle. The parking attendants (whom I am dealing with) informed JEREMY where my car was parked and JEREMY entered my vehicle without my consent or authorization and removed items from my car. I do not know what was taken from my car, and I am in the process of doing an inventory. But his actions were NOTHING LESS THAN CRIMINAL. Although my car door was unlocked, he committed that act of BREAKING AND ENTERING, as well as TRESPASSING. I am not sure what he “LEFT” in my car, which cause him to go commit crimes to retrieve, but criminal charges are definitely be contemplated. To add insult to injury, when I asked JEREMY who the General manger was, I was told that it was “JENNIFER” only to go on the website and learn that it is DANNY LEACH. I sent an email out to the General Manager, DANNY LEACH and the Client Relations Manager, FRANCESCO S. CEFALU shortly after learning that JEREMY had broken into my car and removed item(s) around 3:50 p.m. but have not received an email back. I also attempted to call JEREMY LEACH but was told he was in meetings and was not available. LEXUS OF MANHATTAN is sheltering the criminal actions of their “representative”, by not responding to my email and in my opinion is equally culpable for my car being broken into. More

Do not trust this dealership , they are overestimating repairs and billing for things that do not need to be replaced. I took my Lexus here for a hood light sensor that kept on , they stated the whole har repairs and billing for things that do not need to be replaced. After extorting me out of a ridiculous 840 diagnostic fee and claiming 4 hours for diagnosing I took it to smithtown where cost of repairing a single wire was 665. Fake false diagnostic quote to milk insurance out of 12,000 dollars . They can't explain the discrepancy , it's a huge difference replacing a whole harness from one small white wire . They are disgusting and not to be trusted with your vehicle , it's sad that you have this type of behavior going on but I believe in God and karma . They should be ashamed trying to shake down my insurance and a disabled person , sad and pathetic . I'll post my proof since people should be informed with facts that this outfit is fraudulent and not to be trusted , you will be overcharged for parts and repair your car does not need. Shout out to Lexus of Smithtown who did the right thing and actually repaired my car with class and honesty, they are the reason I'm sticking with Lexus and will go to them to get a new car . I took my car for service and had to leave it overnight. When I went to pick it up, I had to wait for 55 minutes after I paid for the service to get the car. I've scheduled a loaner when I'm making service appointment online since I thought it will take a little longer to check up rear suspension, otherwise I'd rather wait 2 or 3 hours there. The story begins when I start to talk to the service adviser, he lied to me says I didn't schedule loaner, you know what, if they tell me "we don't provide loaner" or "we don't want to provide a courtesy loaner" at the first place, fine, I understand that, but don't be a liar! They call me back the second day in the morning says ICS system reprogram is done but didn't find anything wrong with my rear suspension, I was like, what? Even a lady who never drive a car can hear that noises and those so called "professionals" don't, unbelievable! Actually, this is not my first Lexus RX, they all have the same problem! I didn't argue with them just say OK, I will go back to pick up my car ASAP. The worst part of the story came up after I return the loaner, one guy who did not identify himself to me but wearing service department uniform come to me and claims that the loaner has fresh damage on right side front end of bumper which is me responsible for that damage, I check the "damage" right after that guy told me, first of all, that damaged part doesn't look like a fresh one at all, there even a piece of fabric tuck in the damaged part, apparently someone tried to clean up the car after the damage, that guy who was argue with me about the damage says I have to pay for the damage, very rudely. I ask them to show me the picture to prove what they claimed "no damage" since they keep saying that they inspected the car and hand it to me with "no damage", and he told me that don't work that way. When I buy myself a first Lexus back to more that 10 yrs ago, friend of mine who work for Lexus dealer told me that do not come back to dealer for service, I do have some bad experience with Queens of Lexus but I still expect that maybe Manhattan of Lexus might be different, since I don't care they don't even provide free coffee and snacks like Brooklyn of Lexus does, as long as they can do the right thing to get the job done. Now I know, they all the same and I even trusted them, What a terrible mistake! People, DO NOT go back to them for service your car, if you have to, just beware of them, DO NOT trust them, they don't deserve your trust. More
Service department is the worst I do not recommend the service department at Lexus of Manhattan. They do not wash your car after a service and they just don't care. Please take your car service to somewhere else. More
