We were looking for a new SUV for my wife and after car searching for a week we had decided to purchase another make of vehicle but when we were ready to make the deal the numbers changed. With every dealer we visited I told them I did not want to play the games and to quote me the best price available and we would sleep on it and decide. I am getting too old to play the games. This dealer quoted a fair price and when we were ready to sign claimed they had made a mistake and tried to change the numbers. I walked out and when I returned home decided to send an email to Lexus, one dealer we had not visited. I simply asked for a price on an RX350 with my options and the next morning I got a response with what I thought was a fair price. We made an appointment for 1:30 that afternoon and met with JC who honored the numbers we had been quoted. We worked with Dan and he was great. Took us for a test drive explained everything and we walked back into the dealership and made the deal. No hassles at all. I was happy with the price and hopefully Lexus was also. I own a ES300 (2002) and love it. It is the longest I have ever had a car. When I am ready I will go back to Lexus Manchester. FYI, the service department is great. We were heading for Ira after a less than satisfactory experience at a Toyota dealership in MA and coincidentally was referred to JC by a close friend. Not only did we end up purchasing a new car that same afternoon, but other close friends visited the following week and also purchased a new Lexus! This was by far the best car purchasing experience we have ever had - great service by Len Bellacicco who spent time with us explaining various features, had endless patience for questions and followed up with me several times after I picked up the car just to see if I needed anything. The sales experience with JC, who did not play the usual sales games we've come to expect from a car dealership, to Len who answered our every question, to the finance manager who produced the paperwork in record time was exceptional - I would recommend Ira to everyone - there is no need to go elsewhere. Oh, and did I mention that driving a Lexus is like a dream? Thank you! More
I'm a single female who has driven a Lexus for the past 6yrs. After walking OUT of Ira Danvers MA, I went to Ira Manchester NH. I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. Danvers clearly did not want to take the time/make the effort to get me what I wanted. I could tell the sales rep wasn't listening to me. No problem. Through a referral, I went to Manchester. I did the exact same thing: told Doug Clifford what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. 1) Doug gave me more for my trade in than Danvers quoted me, 2) I received a discount on a 2010 and 2) I have a lower monthly payment than what I wanted. After the fact, I received a phone call from Steve Pease the finance manager telling me I qualified for an even lower % and a shorter loan period. I couldn't be happier. I feel I would have received the same service even if I didn't have the referral. I told Doug what I wanted and he made it happen. I told Steve what I wanted and he made it happen. Even after I signed, they continued working for me to get me the best possible deal. Danvers is 20 minutes from my house; Manchester NH is 45. Well worth my time to be heard and treated with respect. Kudos to the Manchester. Anyone considering purchasing a Lexus, the Manchester team is where you should go. Call ahead and let them know when you're coming in. You will not be dissappointed. More
I needed to try to trade my Jeep in for a more gas economical car because I was moving into more of an outside sales position at my company. I liked the look of the Mazda 3 and saw that IRA Lexus/Toy economical car because I was moving into more of an outside sales position at my company. I liked the look of the Mazda 3 and saw that IRA Lexus/Toyota had a couple of late model used ones on their lot. As I was looking one of the cars over in the lot, Andrew introduced himself. I told him I really liked the look of the car and let him know that I was going through a short sale on my home and did not know if he would be able to get me financed. I did not want to waste his time on a busy week-end (President's Day week-end), but he said lets get some info and take it for a ride. To my surprise, the car had a full tank of gas which I had never experienced with buying a car from other dealers. The test drive surprised me as well, it was probably about 10 miles long with both city and highway driving. I really loved the car and all the features it had to offer. Once we returned, we worked the numbers and then filled out all the normal paperwork. Since I was in the process of a short sale on my home, my credit report showed a few months of me being delinquent on my mortgage. I was brutally honest with Steve Pease about my situation and he was honest with me as well. He said he would need some proof of the short sale in process to go to his banks and hopefully get me financed. Considering I never missed a car or credit card payment I might have a shot, but he needed time. I left that afternoon pretty much assuming it was not going to happen. The next day I got a call from Steve saying he had a talk with a VP in the financing dept, described my situation, and he said to sell me the car! I really appreciated the time and effort Steve put into getting me into the new car that is so much better for me. I would and will recommend IRA Lexus to my friends and family after this experience and I will also go back to them first in the future for my auto needs. More
I received a bid from Ira Lexus, and it was a very good price, so I called up the dealership to confirm it on the morning of Thursday October 1. At that time, I placed a deposit with sales manager Tom Pare, who said he would send me a contract via fax. Later that afternoon, he apologized for not being able to get to it but that he would be giving my information to senior sales associate Doug Clifford to handle, and that I should expect a fax later that day. The fax had still not arrived by the next day, so I decided to wait over the weekend and see if it would arrive by then. It did not, so first thing Monday morning I left a voicemail for Doug to inquire about it, but did not hear from him that day either. Afterward, I received an inquiry from another interested dealer, who I informed that I was already working with someone else, but that they were not responding to me. He said that he could close a deal right away, and I ended up going with that dealer instead. On October 7, nearly one week after my first contact with Ira Lexus, I received the fax I had been waiting for. That day, I called and left a voicemail for Doug advising him that I had already picked up a car from another dealer the day before, and at that time I requested that he reverse the credit card transaction. Having received no response from Doug in regards to my request for a credit, I left a voicemail for finance manager Steve Pease on October 16. When he, likewise, did not respond to me, I followed up with a voicemail to general manager Dennis Wilson on October 22. He, too, ignored my request for the transaction to be reversed. It has now been almost a full month, and the dealer refuses to return my deposit. It doesn't make any sense to me why the dealer would act this way when they know full well they have to return the deposit. More

In all my years of buying cars, Doug is the best; from the start of the negotiating process until the car is delivered he provides exceptional customer service and extensive knowledge about the vehicle. He works tirelessly for you to assure you have the best deal, and after the purchase he provides you with many important facts on the vehicle going through everything. One time when I broke down with 3 small children in the car he personally came to me with a loaner and made sure we were all safe.
