Mr Doug Clifford was the reason i bought my new Lexus 350 SUV, he was just wonderful. He explained everything possible about this vechile. He is a very friendly man with a beautiful sense of humor. At the end of July 2010 I traded in my car to IRA Lexus for a 2004 IS300. I waited for 20-30 minutes before I spoke to a sales consultant even with an appointment I was on time for. Once a sales consultant was available to help me, I was able to view the Lexus I had come to trade for. I was taken on a test drive, and decided the Lexus would be a good choice. I recieved a fair offer on my trade. I was told it would take a few hours to do the paperwork and sent out of the dealership to return a few hours later. When I returned the finance manager told me he could not understand why they sent me out when he would have only kept me waiting for 20 minutes not 2hrs. The biggest issue I had with this deal I would not find out until months later. This is the reason for my review now. I've decided that the Lexus is not for me, a very nice car but I am looking for something different. I went to a differnet dealership to trade in the Lexus for another vehicle. I was shocked to be informed that the carfax run on the Lexus IRA had sold me had 2 accidents on its record. I very clearly remember sitting in the sales managers office and being told to my face the car had no issues and a clean carfax. I honestly would have not agreed to the deal if I would have known I traded a clean no history car for one with a past. What makes the experience worse is being told to my face by the sales manager that the car I was buying was clean with no history. I personally do not believe this is a honest way to do business, and would not recomend Ira Lexus of Manchester to anyone who wants a honest straight forward deal with out the worry of hidden history. I was looking for a used minivan and ended up at Ira Lexus quite by mistake, as we actually were looking for a different used car dealer that gave us poor directions over the phone. We had just come from the Nissan dealer down the street where we were treated horribly. I was so frustrated and furious and was ready to go home when the very nice sales people at Ira Lexus just started talking to us, and asked what we were looking for. Turns out they had just gotten in a van as a trade in and wanted me to see it. It turned out to be a beautiful car and we decided to buy it. Every single person that we dealt with at this dealership treated us with respect and kindness. They worked with us and made it possible for us to stay within our desired monthly payment budget. Even though the cost of our car was far less than that of a new Lexus, we were always treated as if we were buying the most expensive car on the lot. More
We were looking for a new SUV for my wife and after car searching for a week we had decided to purchase another make of vehicle but when we were ready to make the deal the numbers changed. With every dealer we visited I told them I did not want to play the games and to quote me the best price available and we would sleep on it and decide. I am getting too old to play the games. This dealer quoted a fair price and when we were ready to sign claimed they had made a mistake and tried to change the numbers. I walked out and when I returned home decided to send an email to Lexus, one dealer we had not visited. I simply asked for a price on an RX350 with my options and the next morning I got a response with what I thought was a fair price. We made an appointment for 1:30 that afternoon and met with JC who honored the numbers we had been quoted. We worked with Dan and he was great. Took us for a test drive explained everything and we walked back into the dealership and made the deal. No hassles at all. I was happy with the price and hopefully Lexus was also. I own a ES300 (2002) and love it. It is the longest I have ever had a car. When I am ready I will go back to Lexus Manchester. FYI, the service department is great. We were heading for Ira after a less than satisfactory experience at a Toyota dealership in MA and coincidentally was referred to JC by a close friend. Not only did we end up purchasing a new car that same afternoon, but other close friends visited the following week and also purchased a new Lexus! This was by far the best car purchasing experience we have ever had - great service by Len Bellacicco who spent time with us explaining various features, had endless patience for questions and followed up with me several times after I picked up the car just to see if I needed anything. The sales experience with JC, who did not play the usual sales games we've come to expect from a car dealership, to Len who answered our every question, to the finance manager who produced the paperwork in record time was exceptional - I would recommend Ira to everyone - there is no need to go elsewhere. Oh, and did I mention that driving a Lexus is like a dream? Thank you! More
I'm a single female who has driven a Lexus for the past 6yrs. After walking OUT of Ira Danvers MA, I went to Ira Manchester NH. I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. Danvers clearly did not want t 6yrs. After walking OUT of Ira Danvers MA, I went to Ira Manchester NH. I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. Danvers clearly did not want to take the time/make the effort to get me what I wanted. I could tell the sales rep wasn't listening to me. No problem. Through a referral, I went to Manchester. I did the exact same thing: told Doug Clifford what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. 1) Doug gave me more for my trade in than Danvers quoted me, 2) I received a discount on a 2010 and 2) I have a lower monthly payment than what I wanted. After the fact, I received a phone call from Steve Pease the finance manager telling me I qualified for an even lower % and a shorter loan period. I couldn't be happier. I feel I would have received the same service even if I didn't have the referral. I told Doug what I wanted and he made it happen. I told Steve what I wanted and he made it happen. Even after I signed, they continued working for me to get me the best possible deal. Danvers is 20 minutes from my house; Manchester NH is 45. Well worth my time to be heard and treated with respect. Kudos to the Manchester. Anyone considering purchasing a Lexus, the Manchester team is where you should go. Call ahead and let them know when you're coming in. You will not be dissappointed. More
