The car dealer is suppose to supply seat belt extenders if you need them. Today I contacted you to get two seat belt extenders for our back seat of our Lexus and Rosie said, "We would have to bring the pe if you need them. Today I contacted you to get two seat belt extenders for our back seat of our Lexus and Rosie said, "We would have to bring the people who would be using the seat belt extenders down to Manchester, NH to be measured"!!! You got to be kidding me???? We have at least three different people that go places with us, some are elderly people and we are suppose to embarrass them and ask them to travel all the way to NH to get measured for a seat belt extender so they can ride in our car?? We used to own a Cadillac Deville and the Caddy dealer just gave us two different size seat belt extenders for our guest to use in the Cadillac when we had it!! But Lexus Dealership would rather we get tickets for our guests not being able to buckle up and be safe. Who are you kidding??? This has really turned us off to ever owning another LEXUS......Cadillac dealership will get our business from now on!!! THIS IS THE MOST ABSURD THING WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED WITH A DEALERSHIP!! DOESN'T THE LAW REQUIRE YOU TO PROVIDE FREE OF CHARGE SEAT BELT EXTENDERS FOR ALL VEHICLES???? TO KEEP PEOPLE SAFE??? I was pleasantly surprised with the people at Ira Lexus. I first showed up on a Friday evening, hoping that they would be open late, but that was not the case. They were close to closing time (6pm) and wer I first showed up on a Friday evening, hoping that they would be open late, but that was not the case. They were close to closing time (6pm) and were very busy with there impending move to their brand new facility and yet they were friendly and took time to answer my questions. I was assigned to a pre-owned specialist Rob who took the time to get to know what I was looking for and took notes. We agreed to meet over the weekend at their new facility in a nearby part of Bedford, NH (where CR Sparks used to be). I forgot to call ahead, as Rob had requested, so when I arrived he was out driving with another customer--these things are difficult to predict. The manager hooked me up with a younger salesperson, Tim, who was also very easy to talk with and deferential. With Tim's encouragement, I ended up spending a lot of time there and test drove 3 used cars and got a first round offer on my trade in. Now, I was originally intending to spend less and get an older, higher mileage car, but I was really impressed with what I could get for another $5-6k. I could get an '09 IS-250 with premium package, lower mileage, certified with 3 year warranty, and in fabulous condition--new tires, brakes and more. I also preferred the idea of a car that was a couple years beyond the upgrade year ('06), with the kinks worked out; reliability was of top concern to me since I tend to keep cars for over ten years. Originally I thought that paying extra for a certified pre-owned vehicle was a waste, but seeing the prices and some of the work that is put into the vehicle up front was illuminating and the 3 year warranty (up to a combined mileage of 100k) was very reassuring. I anticipated Ira Lexus' sales staff to be perhaps a bit snobby and their prices high, but I was impressed on both fronts. The pre-owned department is in the main building with the new car staff, which is nice, and the prices were at a sweet spot: much lower than new but not that much more than older non-certified cars. The staff were well-mannered yet also friendly and good listeners. The pre-owned selection was a bit lean (I ended up getting my IS at another Lexus dealer where they had the color my wife and I wanted) but Tim says that with the move, they are building their inventory. He also explained that the internet has changed pricing strategy in the industry: to attract customers, you have to show a competitive price up-front, so I found that there is a lot less mystery and dickering in the car-buying experience. This reduces the anxiety about getting a fair deal. Oh, and I love my "new" Lexus IS-250 with the nav package. Its a fabulous sporty car and easy on the eye. More
I had been searching for a great feature-laden SUV and had visited several dealerships encompassing several brands. The Lexus RX350 appeared to be an excellent choice, though I was very enamored with an Acura MDX and Infiniti JX. After visiting Acura, Infiniti, and another Lexus dealership, I ended up calling Ira Lexus of Manchester since they had what appeared to be a perfectly outfitted excellent condition 2010 CPO Lexus RX350. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Doug Clifford was exceedingly willing to assist me. I was shown the vehicle I was most interested in. Though it is high pollen season here in NH, the vehicle was cleaned before my viewing. Doug was knowledgeable in reviewing its features and assisted in a great test-drive. The comfort and quality of the car met expectations and resulted in a swift and pain-free purchase process which met a great price point. Delivery was a breeze. Other than a glitch with Lexus central regarding my Lexus Enform activation, everything was smooth and made for a great transition. The service staff was introduced purposefully. I found them to be down to earth, friendly, and welcoming. The RX is the quietest and most maneuverable of the SUVs I've driven. It is feature laden and comfortable, more economical than an Acura MDX and affording greater driver visibility than an Infiniti JX. As well, Ira Lexus of Manchester's price point bested as-advertised prices of similar vehicles at other Lexus dealers and made for a smart acquisition. More
At 75-years of age, I have purchased 22 vehicles in my life-time of which 5 were America manufactuers (4 preowned; 1 new) purhased in the early 1960's. Since that time, all vehicle purchases have been foreign manufacters to include VW, Honda, Infinity, Mercedes, Toyota and the last 3 were LEXUS RX 300 and 350. Of the foreign vehicles purchased only 3 were new (2-VWs; 1-Honda). All others were pre-owned, certified, one owner, low mileage (under 20,000 miles), a complete service record, clear carfax report, etc. As a retired businessman, I research a specific vehicle wanted at reputable dealers within 100 miles of our town zip code, do extensive research to prepare for the eventual negotiation process anticipated with dealership business and sales managers, and sales & leasing consultants. Without any reservation, the most outstanding sales & leasing consultant in all my years of negotiation and purchasing vehicles has been Douglas (Doug) Clifford, IRA Lexus of Manchester, Manchester, NH 03103. Doug personality is welcoming, pleasant and fun, knows thoroughly the entire Lexus product line, is prompt, attentive and most important an outstanding listener! During the vehicle explanation and operation, he explains literally everything while understanding that the best use is achieved by "doing" it yourself. Doug understands the "market" so well, that after explaining pricing and the negoitations, there is no multiple trips to the sales manager'office for continued dialog. The sales manager has complete confidence and trust in Doug's extensive experience and what he is recommending. The primary (and in some cases the only) objective of most dealerships is selling of vehicles. Doug's has dual objectives of building rapport with each prospective client, to develop repeat business potential for the dealership and selling vehicles. There is no one better than Doug Clifford and, because of his personal and busniess acumen, IRA Lexus of Manchester is my dealership. I recently wandered into this Lexus dealership having already decided to buy my 5th New Toyota Camry. From the moment I entered this dealership I was enveloped with professionalism, listening skills and interest in my unique set of requirements. Jake promptly configured several different opportunities based upon our initial discussions. When I test drove the Lexus ES350 I was given the chance to test my concerns about whether I need the extra HP and cost over my previous Toyota Camry. A frank discussion about the Toyota Product with the quality of Lexus finishing convinced me it may be time to switch. Jake also offered a Lexus ES350 used by the dealership for several months as a loaner which would still carry all the benefits of a new car, with a very attractive price. His detail knowledge of the Lexus product was amazing, and I never felt uncomfortable about wavering, or pushed into a decision. I have faced a very bad experience when i tried to purchase the vehicle from them. Sales person was nice to me but very unprofessional and unknowledgeable for out of state sales. Sales manager keep me waiting almost 48 hours to verify information from lexus and because of that, i lost me other deals. Finally after 48 hours, they noticed me they can not make a sale out of state which is cost me a lose a deal that offered from different dealer and waste my time. I suggest you, If you want to buy the vehicle and you live out of sate, do not even try to purchase the vehicle. You will waste your time. More

The only problem we had was having our paperwork ready for time for pick up. However, even with this, everyone was extremely apologetic and resolved the issue as quick as possible. We would defiantly recommend IRA Lexus to anyone of our family, friends or co-workers. More

He was respectful, never pushy, listened to our needs and concerns. We first inquired about a pre-owned ES 350 with specific mileage etc. We were not in a rush to purchase and we didn’t really want to compromise. Jake took on the car search challenge and kept in touch us. Our priorities changed and we introduced the need for also purchasing a Toyota Tacoma—also looking for low mileage. Jake had a Tacoma transferred to the Manchester NH facility and it totally fit our requirements. He also provided us with an option of purchasing the Sales Manager's 2012 ES 350 Lexus which only had 5,000 miles on it. Jake also provided a second option of a 2010 350 ES with low mileage in our price range. We currently owned a 2005 Lexus ES 330, which Ira Manchester superbly serviced for the past 7 years. With this in mind, coupled with the potential purchase of the Tacoma and the 2012 ES 350, Jake and the Sales Manager, Nigel Long made us an INCREDIBLE offer on the two vehicles! Additionally, they gave us a great trade in for our 2005 Lexus and an outstanding finance package for both new vehicles. The sales was an extremely positive experience and the extras were phenomenal…complimentary first oil change, satellite radio, 2 months of complimentary destination assistance, complimentary one-on-one training for all the electronic features, blue tooth and phone contact lists added, wireless music, GPC etc. Both Jake and Niles were sincerely personable and made time for our questions and didn’t suffocate us. My 92 year old father was with us during the purchase and they both made a point to chat with him and make him comfortable. They transferred our license plates and provided all the details for us to drive both cars off the lot the same day. The follow up service was equally exceptional. We received calls asking if we had questions and one day I drove to the dealership unannounced with a few electronic questions and they immediately provided assistance. The best car buying experience we have ever had….5 stars!!! 10 out of 10 RATING. Thank you guys!!!! I'll stop in when I come up for service! More
