I’m very sorry that you weren’t welcomed to our dealership. I also understand your frustration regarding our diagnostic fees, but please let me explain. Due to the advanced age and mileage of your vehicle, we require a base amount of $260.00 labor to begin diagnosing your vehicle’s concerns. Our experience has shown that some factors such as age, mileage, excessive environmental conditions, and long periods of non-use can negatively affect components on your vehicle. As well, in the process of diagnosing your vehicle, various components must be removed to be inspected and tested. This process itself may damage the components or compromise parts in close proximity to the ones being removed, and there is no way to forecast if a component or system will become damaged from inspections alone. Additionally, there is no way to predict if another system not related to the system being inspected may become inoperative while your vehicle is in for repair. We cannot be held liable for defects in other systems, and we cannot predict the failure of any component on a vehicle with such age and mileage. I apologize if this wasn’t made clear to you at the time of your visit. I would also like to add that you've tagged Leigh Morehouse in your review but didn't work with her.
