The call center is absolutely no assistance, the connected me with no less than 3 different voice mails of personnel (service mgr, finance mgr, store mgr) no answer at all from anyone. I had to drive to the dealership, when I arrived I was met with a service dept employee who had to go search the dealership for a service mgr. the dealership was not busy, there were no cars in line at the service dept entrance, no customers waiting in the waiting area. Stephen Diem finally was able to schedule a drop off of my Lexus. He “could not” get me a loaner vehicle, but did promise to get us a rent a car. My wife left her job early to drop her car off that day before 5 pm. She arrived at 4:30 pm. I received a text from her at 4:55 pm asking me to call Stephen since he had not bothered to come out of his office to get the vehicle drop off done. She could see him sitting in his office with the door closed. I called his “direct” number, no answer and left a voice mail. I called the dealer number, which is actually a call center off site, and they connected me with his voice mail. I recalled the call center and asked them to connect me with an actual person at the dealership, the person at the call center was very apologetic but after putting me on hold for 15 minutes she came back on the line and stated she could only get voicemails......Stephen finally left his office and took our vehicle it was well after 5:00 pm. Then my wife had to go through the rent a car process which took another hour. The next day I got a call from Jay Dalit who apologized for what We were put through, he stated that we should have been given a loaner car. He was very concerned with the customer service when I explained what I have written here. I currently own a Ford truck, and have not had this issue when calling their service department to get info on my vehicle or to arrange service for my vehicle. I get a real person every time who is actually at the dealership. We are very disappointed with this dealership and the customer service we received. Lexus IS supposed to be a luxury vehicle which should mean that customer service is top notch too. Evidently this dealership didn’t get the memo about that. Just to note, to this date nobody except Jay Dalit from the dealership has returned my voicemails....that about sums up their attitudes regarding customer service. Very poor, not sure I would purchase another Lexus from this dealership or from any Lexus dealer. I have owned Infiniti, Cadillac, Acura and they were ALL better than this. You should not be putting your customers through this to get their car dropped off for service. And absolutely should not be putting a customer who drops of their Lexus into a Toyota Rav rental car. You should have loaners, take them away from your executives and let your customers use them. Thank you, I guess I will wait and see if someone contacts me from the dealership about this poor customer service issue. More
