The Technician has no knowledge and can't find out the problem, wants to charge me for labor when my car still under factory warranty. Leuxs of Rockville makes Lexus look bad. Please hire some experience technican instead of people just guessing and without experience and ripping consumer off. Thanks More
While this review is not a real reflection on Mr. Sirignano, as it is on the dealership/service center, I would never refer anyone to this shop. I walked in with a problem with my trunk and left with it unresolved. Instead, I was pitched new brakes for more than double what I pay a typical luxury car mechanic. Tonight - I had to fight with my RX trunk to open. For a few seconds, I thought I was going to lose my fingers. They need a lawsuit to understand the depth of my issue. I bought this brand new vehicle one year before the model year in cash. Wouldn't you know because I am a woman, the salesperson called me 3 days later to say there was a mistake in my paperwork and I owe them $950+. I had to get a male family member to speak THEIR mistake out. Clearly, they thought after I was long gone and contract signed and paid, they thought they could instill fear in me with a ficticious balance. Now, a 2009 vehicle, I own an SUV that has a falling trunk when the temperature drops. I don't know what it take for them to understand there is an issue this time around. They think a female client is their best. They focused my service request around new brakes needed instead of a FALLING trunk. Shame on them. I would never recommend them to anyone. I heard about their reputation before I bought my car from them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Now, I am using all ten fingers, while I have them, to open my trunk during a New York winter. Shame on them. More
My experience was outstanding. I went in for a major service and was provided a new Lexus loaner car. The people were friendly and the service was reasonable. I drop off the loaner and picked up my car service and was provided a new Lexus loaner car. The people were friendly and the service was reasonable. I was driving to work in Manhattan when my tire light went on. The closet dealer to me was Lexus of Rockville Center. Although I didn't buy my vehicle there and didn't have an appointment they took me went on. The closet dealer to me was Lexus of Rockville Center. Although I didn't buy my vehicle there and didn't have an appointment they took me in and got my tire fixed in a less then an hour. They offered me a loaner car but I told them I would wait for it. Anna was very helpful and from the valets to the cashiers everyone was so polite and helpful. It seemed like I was asked if I was being helped a dozen times. I will definitely buy my next vehicle from them if they treated me this way without buying from them I can only imagine how they treat people that do. Thank you for making my bad situation as painless as possible. More
Excellent service, car was finished and cleaned in a short amount of time. Waiting room is comfortable and Internet access if very convenient. I just want to thank Risa Greenfield for a job well done. I never looked forward to having my car serviced but Risa was very prepared and got me in an out quickly. This is my first Lexus and now I know wh I never looked forward to having my car serviced but Risa was very prepared and got me in an out quickly. This is my first Lexus and now I know why people keep going back to Lexus...it's the service. By the way...I got a complimentary back massage while I waited. Very relaxed experience....hahaha. Do not service your Lexus here. Can you imagine going for service on your Lexus because the side mirror was stolen and the casing ripped off, getting a price, leaving the car, and the next day receiving a ph service on your Lexus because the side mirror was stolen and the casing ripped off, getting a price, leaving the car, and the next day receiving a phone call to ask if we had the mirror? WHAT WOULD I BE DOING WITH THE MIRROR? That's why the car was brought in. It turns out that I had been given a price for just the casing. When I was given a new price and decided to go through insurance, I was told pictures couldn't be taken because the casing was already mounted. When I did contact my insurance company (GEICO, who I have found to be very reliable), I was told that this supposedly now discounted price was more than I should have paid for the entire replacement. My RX-350 was in for a recall. The service mgr said we needed brakes and tires. Since they were over priced on tires (double Goodyears price) I decided to take the car to Goodyear to have the tires and b needed brakes and tires. I instructed Goodyear to replace the tires and to install new brakes on the front of the vehicle. After 1 hour, I got a call from the shop asking me "why" I wanted brakes. I told them that Lexus of Rockville Centre advised me the car was in need of brakes (and not safe) I was invited in to view the brakes, and was shown that they were at least 40% brake pads still available! A co-worker also bought his car at this dealer. When I decided to tell him what happened, before i could finish, he said, "dont tell me, they told you that you need brakes!!" I was shocked when he told me of a similar experience. Hearing this, I decided to call the dealers manager, Keith Drago. He claimed that he was investigating, and that this was not his normal practice. update :10/2010 -- the manager (Keith) was instrumental in bringing this poor "service" experience to a happy ending. He acknowledged a "bad egg" in the group, and worked to rectify and satisfy our complaint. We purchased another car from him, and in the end are satisfied with the result. More
I always ask for John when my car is in for service. I make sure I don't get Nicole. I've never waited for more than an hour or else they will give a loaner car.
