I had been looking a many different lexus stores for the past 2 months. I submitted a internet lead and they responded quickly. I visited both Oakland Lexus and Pleasanton Lexus and a TERRIBLE experience at past 2 months. I submitted a internet lead and they responded quickly. I visited both Oakland Lexus and Pleasanton Lexus and a TERRIBLE experience at both dealerships. I went to Lexus of Con cord and after spending some time with me and allowing me to test drive a couple of cars overnight to make sure it was the right car for us. I was able to deal directly with the general sales manager and was abe to get a GREAT price. He was great and knows what customer service is all about. It was a GREAT buying experience and I will recomend to all my friends and family. ML More
We went in to the dealership to look for a CPO 2004-5 GX 470. The 2004 we initially scheduled to drive was just sold moments before we arrived. The salesman gave us the keys to a 2005 model, which just arr 470. The 2004 we initially scheduled to drive was just sold moments before we arrived. The salesman gave us the keys to a 2005 model, which just arrived and had not been detailed. We were trying to keep costs down and decided to look at preowned. The salesman kept talking down the other brands and was trying to sell us on the Lexus name. He kept bashing BMW, not knowing that we own 2 and have never had any problems with either. He kept on talking, and did not listen to our needs or concerns. He also kept mentioning that if we could not afford it, we could always go to their dealership next door and buy an Acura. How does he know what we can and cannot afford? I could pay cash for ANY car on the lot if I wanted to. I found it to be very insulting how he assumed we could not afford the car. We are good savers and are trying to make the most cost effective decision. We have decided to purchase a new car instead. We are going to look at the 2008 X5. We have seen several CPO Lexus vehicles that were repainted. We do not want to purchase someone elses headache. I was not very pleased with the dealership and do not recommend it. More

We were referred to Lexus Of Concord from our family who had bought their new car at Lexus Of Concord. We live about 45 minutes away from Concord but drove up to visit the dealer based on their excellent reputation. We were greeted with a smile and felt like a welcomed guest. Our Salesman was courteous, responsive to our needs and offered us a very aggressive price. He introduced us to the Finance Manager & Sales Manager (who personally welcomed us to "the family"). He gave us a tour of the dealership and introduced us to the Service Manager along with showing us what to expect when we come to service our new ES350. We were so extremely happy with our buying experience at Lexus Of Concord, we look forward to servicing and our ownership with them as well! I would recommend 100% A+++ to the staff at Lexus Of Concord. It was well worth the extra drive to join the Lexus Of Concord "family"! Thank you all! We appreciate your complete dedication and the professional service we recieved! What they say is true.... Family does know best!! More
We bought a used car five months ago and have spent almost 5K in repairs. Needs new steering rack, brakes, all wheel drive doesn't work, SIM card went out, replace ball bearings. I would expect more f almost 5K in repairs. Needs new steering rack, brakes, all wheel drive doesn't work, SIM card went out, replace ball bearings. I would expect more from a reputable high end dealership. Cars that need this much work should be down sold. More
That's good advice at all times, but most importantly when dealing with the sales staff at Lexus of Concord. I went to Lexus of Concord to trade in my Toyota for a Lexus. I was very surprised at the in when dealing with the sales staff at Lexus of Concord. I went to Lexus of Concord to trade in my Toyota for a Lexus. I was very surprised at the initial offer which was about $6000 too high for the new car and $5000 too low for the trade in (based on what I ultimately got from a different dealership). I was able to negotiate the cost of the new car to a reasonable level, but couldn't get them to the right number on the trade-in value. As I still owed some money on the Toyota, I wanted to make sure that I wasn't coming out behind on the deal, so I kept telling them that the only way I would buy a car from them was if they gave me at least the amount I still owed on my Toyota. The difference was only $1000, so I thought we were close. They kept telling me that they couldn't go any higher on the trade-in value and that I would need to pay the $1000 difference between the trade-in value and the remainder owed on my loan as a down payment. When I said that I wasn't happy with the offer, the salesman just stared at me and told me that everything would be okay and not to worry about things. It felt as if he was trying to hypnotize me. When I started to thank him for his time and stand up, he told me in an almost annoyed tone to not be so hasty and to wait in his office while he talked to the sales manager. He came back quickly with a huge smile on his face and a printout that showed the $1000 down payment crossed out. So we shook hands and I went into the finance manager's office to sign the paperwork. I am very careful about signing anything, so I took a good deal of time going over every number. It was at this point that I noticed a $1000 charge on the contract that I didn't understand. When I asked about it, the finance manager told me that it was the difference between the trade-in value and what I owed on my Toyota. It turns out that they crossed out the $1000 on their printout, it didn't mean that they were increasing the value of my trade-in, but rather moving the $1000 down payment they wanted into my financing. At this point, I stood up, thanked the finance manager for his time, and began to leave. They made a huge fuss about having to give my Toyota back (I guess they had already begun to process it). Just before I pulled out of the lot, the salesman told me he would waive the $1000 altogether. I told him it was too late and I wouldn't be doing business with them. . .ever. In the end I got a much better deal with another Lexus dealer a bit farther away. They gave me a great deal on my wonderful new Lexus and I actually made a bit of money on my Toyota, which, by the way, the dealership still made over a grand on when they sold it 5 days later. Bottom line: Shop at your own risk at Lexus of Concord. More

WOULD ABSOLUTLY NE THIS WAS A VERY BAD VISIT - SERVICE DEPT. PERSONEL ARE VERY INCOMPETENT. WE'VE HAD TO GO BACK MANY TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEMS. WOULD ABSOLUTLY NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE. IF YOU GIVE YOUR OPINION TO THESE SURVEYS - WATCH OUT BECAUSE , IF THEY ARE NOT GOOD , THEY TAKE YOU OUT OF THEIR DATABASE AND PUT YOUR VIN # UNDER SOMEONE ELSE , SO THEY DO NOT HAVE A BAD MARK TO THEIR COMPANY!!!! OF COURSE THEY WILL SAY IT WAS A MISTAKE BUT WE ALL KNOW IT TAKES A PERSON TO CHANGE SOMETHING IN A COMPUTER. I HAVE TALKED TO CUSTMER SERVICE MANY TIMES AND THEY NOTE MY COMPLAINTS, BUT THERE TOO YOU ONLY GET APOLOGIES FOR THE BAD EXPERIENCE - NO RESOLUTIONS!!!! I RECOMMEND PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AND THE 2007 RX 350 . More
went to test drive new lexus and no sales person approached until about 15 minutes later, also they wanted to run my credit and do an application before taking a test drive, it was so unprofessional approached until about 15 minutes later, also they wanted to run my credit and do an application before taking a test drive, it was so unprofessional. The salesmen said he had been in this line of work for 15 years, he did not act like he knew the features of the vehicle, he was more concerned about my credit status instead of helping me find out what I would like to buy. When the car was returned the battery was replaced. That's it. The service tag said the clamp and lugs were replaced and were billed. However, the lugs and clamp were not replaced. And no washing of the acid took place. The car was returned. The service writer appologized. They washed the acid from surface areas by hose-nothing to neutralize the acid. The clamp was replaced. In the end I was so disappointed I removed the battery, cleaned all the acid under and around the battery with baking soda. I completed this very normal, low skill, service properly. They will not work on my car again. More
