My service experience was perfect. I brought my ES 350 in for service on August 22. I was promptly greeted by Service Advisor Paul Hildebrand. I have been a customer of LEXUS of CLEARWATER for more than 20 years. My first Lexus was a 1996 ES300, after that I purchased a total of 5 LEXUS. The service team will say anything necessary to get you into the dealership, but it's all just lip service. I was misled into thinking parts and labor would be performed under warranty, and it wasn't. In into the dealership, but it's all just lip service. In fact, when I spoke to the national Lexus offices, they confirmed that the service manager never contacted them (he stated he did). So that was a lie by the service manager. Then the person at Lexus continued the facade by telling me to send pics and more info, only to rule that they would not replace the work nor install the part as part of their goodwill problem. They stated it was because I didn't have the dealership install the part. Well ... They knew this fact from the initial call! In summary ... I bought an ABS brake actuator for $1250 from Lexus of Clearwater brand new, it failed less than 16 months later, and I am out of luck. I had to buy it to begin with because Lexus failed to notify me that they issued an extended warranty on this part back in 2016! (which expired in 2018). So now I am faced with buying another ABS actuator for $1,250. That will be 2 in less than 2 years, and I have no reason to believe it will last more than 16 months. I am frustrated with their decision and disgusted by their deception and lies. More
He was patient with my warranty company not responding, he worked hard to solve each and every problem I had with my vehicle, and he was very polite to me and I am not the best cui in the world.
