Talk about exceeding expectations, my experience with Mike Aloia at Lexus of Clearwater has done that repeatedly. The Lexus cars are so good that usually I only have to get service for routine maintenance. About 2 weeks ago, however, I had a battery failure at home due to not closing the trunk all the way. It was late in the day and I couldn't wait for AAA. I drove my other Lexus to the dealer. Mike Aloia rearranged his busy schedule, quickly came to the house with a charger, drove the car back to Lexus, did a battery check after a full charge, and in no time the LX430 had a new battery. This is only one example of the level of service provided by Mike Aloia! More

***BOTTOM LINE*** Salesman used iPhone Autotrader App trick to try to trick me into thinking the car I was interested in buying was the best priced within 300 miles. He sorted search results into "neare trick to try to trick me into thinking the car I was interested in buying was the best priced within 300 miles. He sorted search results into "nearest to furthest" and claimed they were sorted "price lowest to highest." Could get away with this with some people, but not me, and hopefully not you!! My experience was fine at first, but then began the negotiation. We were discussing the offer Lexus of Clearwater was giving me for my trade-in, and the price of the used ES350 I wanted to purchase. I had done my homework and knew exactly what I wanted, the prices of comps in the area, etc. I also knew what my trade-in was worth, and they came back to me with a number lower than I deemed acceptable, so I asked Steve to get closer to the number I had in mind. However, when we were discussing the price of the ES350 I wanted to purchase, he pulled out his phone and logged on to his Autotrader App. He said he did a search on Autotrader on ES350's within a 300 mile radius, and that the one I was looking at was the best price, hence it was at the top of the list. I looked at, thought that was great, and we moved on. He then went back to the other room to see if they would come up on the trade-in value of my vehicle. While he was gone, I realized that something wasn't right about what he showed me on his phone, because I had seen several other ES350's in the area that were less expensive. So I did a similar search and there were approximately eight vehicles that were less expensive than the one on his lot, yet he was leading me to believe his was the cheapest within 300 miles. I then realized that he sorted his search results to show vehicles nearest to furthest, not priced lowest to highest. He deliberately did this to act like his vehicle was priced the best within 300 miles. When he came back I asked him to show me the Autotrader App again and his search, which he had no problem doing, but then I called him out on his lie, which he did not like. I showed him that when he sorts his search results to lowest to highest price, his vehicle is no longer at the top of the list. He then asked if the vehicles that were ahead of his had the same options, and I said yes, of course, it is still your same search, just sorted differently. He started to back-up on his claim because he knew he was caught. I asked him what he was trying to do, and why he was lying. He then told me I was being confrontational. Well of course I'm going to confront someone who is lying to me. I pointed out that there was a similar vehicle, with only a few thousand more miles that was $4,000 less than his, and his exact words were, "well then I advise you go buy that vehicle!" The words of someone who was embarassed about being caught in a lie and wanted to get out of the situation. So I walked out and immediately called the sales manager Sayid. He apologized and asked me to come back, but by this time I was already too far out and too angry. I told him I may come back and he said he and another sales person will deal with me personally. I don't know if I want to go back at this point. More

My wife and I have had a lot of experience in purchasing cars and I would say that we know what we want and normally do a lot of research before making a purchase. We went to Lexus of Clearwater on Saturday December 7th 2013 thinking that they closed at 8 pm. Lexus closed at 6pm that evening; however Peter made it a night filled with his kindness, humbleness, and honesty. This gentleman allowed my wife and me the opportunity to share our personal needs and wishes in regards to all aspects of purchasing a car. Throughout the entire 72 hours of our deliberation between my wife and I, Peter was always there waiting patiently to answer any questions or concerns we might have had. He was great when I bought my first EX 330, and now that I wanted to move up to a RX 350, he provided all the answers to questions I asked and pestered him with. He is the most professional car salesman I have every dealt with, no pressure, concern about your needs and budget and always eager to help. He introduced me to Syed Madni, the sales manager, and we discussed purchase vs leasing options and in the end they provide me with the best possible deal in the car of my choice. I was extremley happy and it all took place in a span of 4 and 1/2 hours with no hassles. The business manager, Anthony Coleman, was also very professional and easy to work with. In the first day after my purchase I had a issue with a non-mechcainical part and the above guys and the service manager were so great to make sure the issue was taken car of and all to my satisfaction.
