we loved our experience with this dealership. it was a friendly service and everyone went above and beyond for us. All the paper works were short and not time consuming at all. We were in the out without friendly service and everyone went above and beyond for us. All the paper works were short and not time consuming at all. We were in the out without any problems. The car is great and we're very happy with the end result. We will recommend it to anyone that is looking to purchase any Lexus to go here first. More
I recently purchased my RX from Bay Ridge Lexus and I have nothing but good things to say! I have purchased vehicles before and have had HORRIBLE experiences when dealing with Finance, but Daniel was pr have nothing but good things to say! I have purchased vehicles before and have had HORRIBLE experiences when dealing with Finance, but Daniel was professional, clear and concise, and the customer service he provided was stellar. From dealing with the staff at Bay Ridge Lexus, I have become a Lexus-only driver. Thanks again! More
I do not enjoy the car buying process normally, these guys made it easy. I use a lease company to avoid dealerships, however Bay Ridge Lexus has a new location so I gave them a try. The selection was goo guys made it easy. I use a lease company to avoid dealerships, however Bay Ridge Lexus has a new location so I gave them a try. The selection was good, they had the RX I wanted and I picked it up the same day.As long as I am buying a Lexus I will go back to Bay Ridge. They gave me a free service, I will update my review after using the service dept. More
I went with my girlfriend to the dealership to possibly trade her in '04 RX330. After going for a test drive, we sat down to go over price. Then they looked at my girlfriend's truck to determine the trad trade her in '04 RX330. After going for a test drive, we sat down to go over price. Then they looked at my girlfriend's truck to determine the trade in value. When the saleman came back, he said that the carfax report stated that her truck was FWD and not AWD. We were in shock, because we both beleived that the truck was AWD. The salesman then explained that you cannot always tell the difference between FWD and AWD. It is because of the big tires. He told us the value of the car and the fact that it was FWD lowered the value. Well in order to get to the bottom of the AWD vs FWD issue, I found the window sticker from my gf's truck and it clearly stated AWD (mind you she bought it from this dealership back in 06). I showed this to the salesman and he said well the carfax report was showing FWD. This is impossible since carfax goes based on VIN numbers and: JTJGA is Japan mfg, FWD JTJHA is Japan mfg, AWD The VIN Number on my gf's truck says JTJHA which means made in Japan and AWD. Therefore someone at this dealership is obvisiously lying and trying to deceive people. More
I've come to BayRidge Lexus service, Brooklyn, NY to have a regular service (oil/ filter change, tire rotation etc.) for my Lexus RX-330. Once the oil change is done, they were supposed to fix appropriate bo a regular service (oil/ filter change, tire rotation etc.) for my Lexus RX-330. Once the oil change is done, they were supposed to fix appropriate bolts and nuts (bolts for the plastic sheet which is covering the engine from bottom) which are at the bottom of my car. I took off my car after getting the car from them and making appropriate payments. Once I drove about 2 miles from the servicing point, I realized that some huge noise is coming from bottom of my car (At that time i was driving on Staten Island big rope bridge, NY), I thought it's flat tire. After crossing the bridge, I got out of the car and saw then this plastic sheet is hanging on to the road and it's damaged as it was rubbing to the road. Then a cop came to the rescue, He came all the way back to the servicing station as a protection. When I showed the hanging plastic sheet to the servicing department, guess what the answer I got from them, " Sir, this is sheet has come off because of the huge wind flow on the Staten Island bridge, NY". Give me a break, I drove this lexus for 20k miles without a single problem. This sheet wouldn't come off just like that. Someone might have forgot to fix it, accept the truth and fix my problem. on top of it, they are not ready to accept the truth and made a false promise to replace the damaged sheet. This is been a week since I've had my car service done, since then I've not heard anything from them. This is utter nonsense. I had spend more than $500 for my car service and on top of it I had to damage my car for their wrong doing. I will never recommend this to any of my friends. More
Brought my car in last week for a previous recommended service to replace front and rear stabilzer bushings- 2001 ES300. This repair happened to be covered in full under my extended warranty. To make a lo service to replace front and rear stabilzer bushings- 2001 ES300. This repair happened to be covered in full under my extended warranty. To make a long story short- repair was suppose to be done in one day- it took two days. No problem since I had a loaner car. Only problem is that I stopped by the next day to pick up my car and the service advisor said they were busy and couldn't get to my car. He never contacted me to let me know this. Poor communication! I return the next day at 4:15 pm after receiving a call around 11:20 am stating my car is ready. I didn't leave until after 5:40 pm. The service advisor stated he was waiting for payment from the warranty company. I basically waited for over an hour and a half for something that should have been taken care of before I arrived to pick up my car. Now my car makes knocking noises after the repair was done. My car never made these noises before. To top it off they said I was responsible for the taxes on the repair since the warranty company was tax exempt. Again- no big deal- it was only about $20 BUT I had extended warranty service done at this dealer two years and didn't pay a dime?? When I get home annoyed I notice a charge for license plate bolts on the invoice after I left. They put Bay Ridge Lexus license plate frames and charged me for the bolts??? I guess they charge you to advertise their dealership?? I've been servicing my car there for about 3 years. They claim to have top notch expertise when servicing Lexus vehicles. However on TWO separate occasions when getting only an oil change- they never cleaned up the oil from underneath my car. I had to find oil dripping on my newly cemented driveway. This is something expected at the local Jiffy Lube but not at Lexus Service. I sent letters to the service manager and general manager with no response as of yet. I guess their BBB rating of an 'F' holds true. More
