As a sales, marketing and public relations person all my life,I can honestly say that Joe Fass is one of the finest sales individuals I have ever encountered. He listens. He wants the customer to be happy. His personal attention to the customer along with his exceptional knowledge of these cars is unparalleled. He takes the time to teach you everything you need to know about the workings of your car.You drive your car off the lot feeling totally confident and happy with your purchase. He follows up after the sale and he is always available with any questions you have beyond. In 1997, I purchased my first Lexus. Joe Fass was new to the dealership. I was his 3rd or 5th customer. Yesterday I purchased my fourth car. Fourteen years later, Joe Fass has the same enthusiasm, the same superior knowledge, the same patience, the same attention to detail, and the same personal charm. We were looking for a used car for our daughter who graduated last year and started working. We opted for Lexus because of its great reputation and previous experience with Lexus cars. After going to numerous dealerships in the Bergen County area looking for pre-owned vehicle for my wife (not necessarily Lexus) and not finding what I was looking for, I found a 2005 ES-330 on-line at Bridg area looking for pre-owned vehicle for my wife (not necessarily Lexus) and not finding what I was looking for, I found a 2005 ES-330 on-line at Bridgewater Lexus. It was close to the price range I was looking for. The car looked great on the internet. I called Lexus and got Joe Fass on the phone. Being in sales myself, I could tell Joe was a straight shooter. We discussed the car but it was little more than I wanted to spend. Since the dealer- ship was in Bridgewater, I was hesitant to drive an hour so we spoke on the phone about the vehicle. Joe said the vehicle was in mint condition and I should come see it. The morning of the day I ended up purchasing the vehicle went like this: I emailed Joe in the morning that I thought the monthly payment was beyond what I wanted to spend on this vehicle. He said "let me work on it." Not only did he and Scott Giarraffa(finance manager) get me the payment I needed, Scott negotiated the bank rate down with the lender. They called me with the good news. I told them I would be down to purchase the vehicle assuming all was in order and the car looked as good in person as it did on the internet. When we arrived at Bridgewater Lexus, we were greeted with open arms by the receptionist, who told us Joe was expecting us. Joe greeted us with a big smile and was excited to finally meet myself and my wife, and more excited to show us the car. When I said to him "I hope the car looks as good in person," he told me it would exceed my expectations. WOW!!, was he right. We walked out to the car and I was stunned. This car with just under 70,000 miles literally looked brand new. It looked like no one ever sat on the leather seats. The exterior paint was mint. Seriously, it looked like no one ever used this car. Both myself and my wife were impressed to say the least. Joe was right. The car exceeded expectations. We would later find out that in addition to this beautiful car, it turned out that Bridgewater Lexus had "certified" this car. This means a full 3 year, 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. All on a 2005 car with 70,000 miles!! In addition, it came with a free full tank of gas, free first oil change. Joe also gave us a very nice insulated freezer bag to transport our frozen and cold groceries. If you have shopped for cars before and have been through all the nonsense that goes on at your typical car dealers, than you know how horrible it can be. THIS IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. It is professional, courteous, and you get even more than you expect. Joe is true professional and as friendly a guy as you will meet. He knows his business inside and out. His total review of the car with us before we left was something I have never experienced before. He was detailed down to how to use the keys. Everyone we dealt with in person or on the phone was incredibly friendly and knew their job. I cannot stress enough what a different and great experience I had with Joe Fass, Scott, and the entire Bridgewater Lexus team. I will ONLY be calling Joe and Bridgewater for my next vehicle. I had worked with Joe 3 years ago and while I didn't buy a Lexus at the time, when I was ready this year, I walked into the dealer to work with him. I have bought a number of new automobiles from this dealership since I've been in New Jersey over the past 13 years. As all of my past autos have been new, my salesman offered a Lexus Certified User A dealership since I've been in New Jersey over the past 13 years. As all of my past autos have been new, my salesman offered a Lexus Certified User Auto (less than one model year old) to avoid the lengthy wait for a new similar vehicle. I was given an extremely reasonable price for my Lexus trade-in that was nearly 9 model years old, and the price we settled on for the Lexus Certified Used Auto was very attractive. When we picked up the car, I was pleasantly surprised as to the cleanliness and condition of the car...one would have believed it was brand new inside and out. All of my requests were met, the financing turned out to be very attractive as well, and I must say we are very happy customers again. We actually came in the dealership to buy and new car, and my experience thus far with a Lexus Certified has been very positive. I would not hesitate to recommend such an option to a work colleague, friend or relative. Finally, the dealer salesmen, as always was tremendous and since we bought a hybrid with lots of bells and whistles, explained everythhing thoroughly to us and offered his expertise numerous times should we have any further questions.
