We knew exactly how much we would have to put down as well as how much per month before we even walked in. It's was also a breeze! We were in and out of the dealership within an hour! From sales to the leasing specialist to the insurance guy we were happy all around. Even the hostess went outbid her way to get my daughter a cookie. More

Thank you for treating me like a King A couple of weeks ago I would never have thought of buying a "pre-owned" Honda Accord at a Lexus dealership. I knew I wanted a Honda Accord, because it's an inexpensive car with a long life span and good gas mileage. So naturally, I was prepared to go to a Honda dealership and see what kind of deals I could get. However, my fiance convinced me to check out Lexus Bridgewater for 2 reasons. Firstly, because they have non-Lexus pre-owned vehicles and secondly, because she heard of a salesman named Eddie Ruggirello, who had the reputation of being a man that was genuinely looking out for the customer's best interest. I was a bit apprehensive to go to a Lexus dealership to buy a Honda Accord, because I wasn't sure whether the sales team would give me the same level of service as they would a Lexus customer. Boy was I wrong. From the moment I stepped in the building, I was greeted with smiles and warm welcomes. I had left my puppy outside in the parking lot of the dealership with my fiance, because I just assumed that dogs weren't allowed in the dealrship. But when Eddie came outside to greet me, and saw my fiance holding our puppy, he invited all of us inside (including the puppy) to sit at his desk. I expected some staff members to scowl at the idea of an "accident-prone" puppy entering their clean establishment, but many staff members smiled and pet the puppy. I learned a lot about the spirit of the staff from the way they treated my pup. Back to Eddie, I can honestly say that I have never met a salesman as genuine as Eddie. From the minute you meet him you have this distinct sense that he is truly concerned with making you feel comfortable with your whole car buying experience. I honestly believe that Eddie would rather not make a car sale, than make a car sale to a customer that is not 100 percent happy with their choice. Most salesman try to convince you of what you need, so they can make their commission. Eddie takes the time to get to know people, and does his best to match their needs with what the dealership can offer. I never felt pressured by him. He mentioned a few times that if I wasn't comfortable with the purchase then I should sleep on it and not rush into a decision. It was this kind of non-pressure method that made me comfortable to purchase the car from Eddie. Another thing that I admire about Eddie is that he's not afraid to get his hands dirty. Since I bought the car on a busy Saturday, the car washing section of the dealership was all booked, but Eddie wanted us to drive off with a clean vehicle, so he went outside and cleaned the car himself. How many salesmen would actually do that? Eddie's service was immaculate from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left... And even after. Not only did I get a follow up call and email from Eddie to once again thank me for coming to the dealership, but he also mailed my fiance and I (Yes snail mail) a hand written thank you post card. I cannot express enough how great the quality of Eddie's service was. Thank you Eddie for the royal treatment! I have a couple of honorable mentions. Scott Giarraffa was the finance manager for our deal. We had a great experience with Scott. He is not what I would expect from a typical finance manager that's crunching numbers all day. He was jovial and entertaining and has the gift of being able to lighten the mood when negotiating on price. He worked hard to get my apr down to as low as he could with my credit score, and was able to get my monthly payments down to my target goal. As lighthearted and entertaining as Scott can be, you can tell right off the bat that he knows his stuff and has the instincts that make him a great finance manager. Thanks a lot to Scott for handling the finance aspect of the deal. And lastly, I have to mention a short story. While we were sitting at Eddie's desk discussing business, a gentleman who appeared to be a staff member walked up to us and asked if our dog wanted water. I quickly said yes, because I had realized that he hadn't drank in some time and must be thirsty from the hot day. The gentleman came back with a cup of water, got on one knee, and held the cup while my dog drank water out of it. I thought it was a great gesture of service. When the gentleman left, Eddie turned to us and said the man that just got on his knee to give water to your dog is the general manager of the dealership, Ron Joffe. That really exemplifies the spirit of humility that I felt in the dealership that day. Thanks to Eddie, Scott, Ron Joffe, and Lexus Bridgewater dealership for making this experience one to remember. Quick & Friendly Service On June 20, 2014 I went out to finance a car, a Honda Civic to be specific. Nothing special or too expensive by any means. After having done my resear On June 20, 2014 I went out to finance a car, a Honda Civic to be specific. Nothing special or too expensive by any means. After having done my research and obtaining a car loan from a bank I settled on a Civic from The Lexus of Bridgewater. Being that Civics aren't that expensive and I was going to a Lexus dealer I expected to be treated like an nuisance at best and a pauper at worst, maybe even escorted off the premises before the "real" customers show up. Seriously, a cheap Lexus starts at like 70k and the best Civic tops out at around 30k so what Lexus dealer would take me seriously? Eddie R is who. Eddie R never kept me waiting or wanting for anything. From the test drive to the goodbye handshake Eddie was friendly, courteous, and attentive to all my needs. Honestly, I couldn't figure out why. I was financing a 13k Civic, so compared to what he usually gets for selling a Lexus it must have been a barely laughable commission. As I was wondering this, Eddie answered for me without me asking as if he was telepathic or something. He said, " A customer is a customer regardless of what they're buying so they should all be treated with the same respect." The fact that he said it didn't surprise me because you hear that all the time on commercials and whatnot.. The fact that he LIVED it did. It is a value I thought long lost in an era before my time. So thanks much Eddie R for showing me something I thought was forgotten. Of course the dealer isn't the only person you have to meet at a car dealership. There is always the guy in the back office who is wondering how you plan to pay for your automobile aka the Finance Manager. The candidate for this day was Scott G. So after some introductions Scott G starts ribbing Eddie R calling him Chachi (which he does look like) and questioning Eddie R's actual job title, demanding that he gopher some coffee and get those cars parked. Pretty hilarious. So after about 4 minutes or so of that Scott G looks at the auto loan I had brought in with me and then scowled. Scott G then said " Give me ten minutes. I know some people who can do better." Thirteen minutes later Scott G shows up with a better loan offer, 2% lower than the one I had so proudly brought in with me. In the long run Scott G's offer will save me around $1500. I have no qualms with that. So while he was having at Eddie R (again lol), I was wondering how many of his virgin daughters he had to sacrifice to get me this deal, because we all know banks love money. Scott G later explained to me while I was signing various documents that: " I bring these banks many rich customers who spend 100k, 100k+ plus for a car. So every now and again I ask for a few back to help the not so rich guy." I work at Walmart so I am definitely the not so rich guy. So thanks much Scott G for helping this not so rich guy out. More
