Experience leaves a lot to be desired Buying a car from Lexus of Bridgewater leaves a lot to be desired. Rich Tullo was my sales consultant and I had worked with him on two potential deals Buying a car from Lexus of Bridgewater leaves a lot to be desired. Rich Tullo was my sales consultant and I had worked with him on two potential deals which never materialized. The first was a on a certified used lexus on which his verbal quote was higher than what was listed on the website. I had asked him to rectify this and Rich got back to me towards the end of the day to let me know that the car has been sold. It happens. No big deal. I decided to then purchase a new vehicle from Bridgewater. Rich provided me an out of the door price which was a little more than what I was quoted from a dealer in the next state. I had asked Rich to beat this quote early in the day. Rich had assured me that "we won't loose a deal over a few hundred dollars" but would have to check with his supervisor. This was at around noon. In the meantime I have a competing dealer calling me every hour on the hour asking me to commit, as he had other customers interested in the vehicle. That dealer was pricing his car aggressively but is a two hour drive away. If I could get it from Rich for a similar price, why not. I called back Rich a few times and Rich told me to hold tight and that he's working on it. At 5pm Rich calls back and informs me that the car has been sold... but... wait for it... he can get me the same exact vehicle for $500 more than what Rich originally quoted. At this point I called back the competing dealer who informs me that he now has a deposit on it. In essence, Rich contributed to killing this deal for me by telling me to hold tight. I had brought this up to the sales manager, John, at this dealership who was more interested in managing my expectations rather than taking the time to understand the customer experience of this transaction which fell through. This approach to selling to a customer is unfortunate and I will not be buying from this dealership in the future. More

Quick to respond and scheduling for meeting in person was the best. Eddie had the cars ready for test drive before we got there. Disappointing experiences, poor values I have serviced my vehicle at this dealership since I bought it in 2017, and while I had a great purchase experience with Dawn, the service experience I have serviced my vehicle at this dealership since I bought it in 2017, and while I had a great purchase experience with Dawn, the service experience has been disappointing consistently. I took my car for a broken tire once (I have the tire protection package), and they returned my car with a scratched bumper from removing the broken wheel from the trunk. They offered to repaint the bumper and did so at no cost to me, but when they returned the car, there were new scratches in other parts of the vehicle. They offered once again to repaint the damaged parts, and when they returned the vehicle, there were new scratches, again. I was afraid to leave the car in their hands once more by that point. However, I decided to give them another chance in my last visit for a simple oil change. I took a loaner vehicle for the first time, and unfortunately, I bumped it against their exit gate while backing out of their service area. The replacement part for the damage I caused to the rear spoiler of the loaner vehicle was priced at $2017, retail price, on top of which they charged a disposal fee of $30, taxes, and labor fees. Altogether, they charged me almost $2380. I would have expected some flexibility and empathy, taking into account that it was an accident. For example, I would have charged cost vs. retail price, and I would have waived labor fees. Essentially, they profited off my misfortune. The service manager, Ron, did remove the disposal fee of $30 after I questioned it. In general, their pricing structure seems excessively high for an IS model (oil change $230, rotator resurfacing $300), when I compare it to the service costs for my other vehicle (a high-performance german convertible; I pay $160 for oil changes on a mid-engine setup). I don't mind paying a higher price as long as my experience is consistent with that pricing, but that has not been the case with this service department. This latest experience left a bad taste and made me question the values that drive this business. I do want to mention that Shana and Rich, service advisors, have been great during my visits, but the service manager, Ron, has not shown care, flexibility, or even an interest in developing a customer relationship. Now that the services included in my certified Lexus plan are done, I don't plan to return to this service department. While my experiences may be outliers, I hope they serve as warning to other customers. More

Though things did not work out now, her exceptional knowledge of both Lexus as well as her warm words about the company may very well lead to my next car being a Lexus. More
