I visited this dealer and test drove a couple new Lexus models, an NX and ES. I was deciding between and SUV and sedan. I ultimately decided I preferred a sedan and got a quote on the ES. The dealer quoted models, an NX and ES. I was deciding between and SUV and sedan. I ultimately decided I preferred a sedan and got a quote on the ES. The dealer quoted MSRP and then several add ons. I attempted to negotiate but was told I would never find that vehicle at the price I was comfortable paying. The inventory on the lot for both the NX and ES was very minimal. I understand the ES is between model designs so I understood it being limited. On the NX, they basically offered vehicles “allocated” to them and showed little interest in locating a vehicle in the color and option preferences you had. After the associate told me I’d never find a vehicle at the price I expanded my search to other Lexus dealers, and did ultimately find the vehicle in the exact color combination I wanted at the price the salesman at Lexus of Birmingham told me I’d never get any dealer to agree to. I purchased the vehicle remotely and had a much better experience at that dealer. More
The dealership was clean and the salesman were not pushy. I did not feel pressure to buy a vehicle from them even though they did not have my selected car preferences.
