I’ve dealt with many dealers and this has by far been my worst experience in the past ten years. I inquired on a car in March 2023 and was moving forward with purchasing. With poor communication and spotty responses for a few days I through the whole process, etc. Give them my information and a deposit on the car so I can go pick it up that weekend. The day after placing my deposit, I called my salesperson (Hernando) to schedule a time with no response. Called the front desk and was told he was in Texas for training (with no mention of this by the sales person or anything) and that he’d be back the next week. I get a text from him late that same night saying he’s in New York and will be in the next morning. Already things don’t line up, but I’ve started the process so whatever. The next day I try to get something scheduled and it’s like pulling teeth, finally I get a time on Saturday of that week setup and was told the car was ready to go and would be parked out front when I got there. In the meantime I’ve asked for a copy of the purchase agreement and all communication stops for a day again and I finally get that two days later after asking for it several times. Saturday comes and I start heading to the dealer (a two hour trip) when I get a call that they can’t sell me the car because they don’t even have the title, but made me go through this entire process and told me from the start that the car was “ready.” Also to add that this car had been through service, was detailed and photographed and advertised on their site. And also add that this same morning that they told me the car was unavailable for sale they had raised the price listed online by nearly $3,000. I was already almost an hour into my trip so I was pretty upset to keep this review G rated. Told them I was tired of this poor communication throughout this entire deal and being jerked around and to just refund me my deposit and I’ll turn around and go find something else as I was looking to purchase a car that weekend and had set aside quite a bit of time for this one vehicle. Was assured by both Hernando and his manager Jeff Mark that my refund would be issued and if I changed my mind once the title for the vehicle came in, whenever that would be, that I could still move forward with it if I wanted. That was March 11th. I just finally received my refund on May 10th, only to be RECHARGED again on May 16th by this dealership without any authorization on my end whatsoever. A chargeback will be issued if this is not immediately refunded back to me (again). More

Bought a new 2019 Lexus UX200. When the outdoor temperature is above 70 degrees and driven on a less than smooth road there’s a disturbing rattle at my left ear from the window fra When the outdoor temperature is above 70 degrees and driven on a less than smooth road there’s a disturbing rattle at my left ear from the window frame. The sound cannot be replicated in the lower temperature on my first two service visits. I asked that my concern be noted on my file. I bought the car, with less then 8,000 miles on it, for that rattle last month. I was told there was no such record in my file and there would be an $85 charge for checking on it plus the cost of remediation. More
I was recently at Lexus of Ann Arbor looking to purchase a Lexus SUV. I informed the salesman I had vehicle(s) which I was considering trading in , both Mercedes Benz. When I took my MB E350 in for an appraisal, the sales manager test drove it and indicated he was impressed with the overall condition. I was informed by my salesman he would get back with me with a trade in price. It has been several weeks and I have not heard from him. I tried calling and emailing my salesman to follow up and he has failed to respond to my inquires. I decided to review the rating for this dealership and was very shocked/surprised at the amount of negative comments. Based of many of the reviews, it would appear I dodged a potential undesirable situation. More
