very easy and price friendly lease experience. My wife and I are extremely busy business people and were able to do much of the foot work on line and by phone. We were in and out with our new ES 350 Lexus in about an hour and a half. The deal we had was truly what was advertised and no hidden charges. We also went to Bell Lexus in Scottsdale, AZ, and they tried to match the deal but came in $1,000's over the Abq deal with lots of add-ons and hidden costs. More

This dealer is totally dishonest and unethical. Bought a new 2013 lexus ES300h. Dealer called later and said they had made a mistake in the paperwork and that I owed another $3000. I received a number of new 2013 lexus ES300h. Dealer called later and said they had made a mistake in the paperwork and that I owed another $3000. I received a number of phone calls on this. Then took the car in to have the front license plate holder removed and the holes filled in. Called three days later and was told that the car was still at the body shop. Finally got another call from the owner Tom about the $3000. I asked about the car and was told that I could pick it up the next morning. When I was at the dealer I paid the extra $3000. Then got my car only to discover that they had done no work on it. They basically held my car hostage for a week just to get the $3000. I feel that their actions in this case were not only dishonest, but underhanded and very unethical. Unless you must just have a lexus and live in Albuquerque, stay away from this dealer. More
All I will say, do not trust LEXUS OF ALBUQUERQUE. They will screw you. The first Lexus that wathe just an issue. This was my gmistake for trusting them. I should have known when 5 months after the sa will screw you. The first Lexus that wathe just an issue. This was my gmistake for trusting them. I should have known when 5 months after the sale. I was stranded in the NV desert with a flat and the wheel key was not the right one. They denied all responsibility. Cost me over $1000 and lost of several days vacation. I was not even in cell phone range. That began the nightmare. I've avoided Lexus service because the expense was mounting. I think they changed parts on this car . 3 months late wires hanging out of the dash. and breaks (and rotors) were usable for 5k miles, filters were all bad. Oil needed changing. Rubber pads on break peddle came off wile driving and I nearly had an accident. They painted over the chrome on the trunk. They must of re-painted it in a hurry. A year later I had to spend a good chunk of cash to fix that. xxxx of the Earth. Thats Lexus of Albuquerque. More
Bought a preowned vehicle.. Took it in to have it looked over immediately post sale.. Was told it needed approx 4-5k worth of work done for leaks in steering, brakes, etc.. Had vehicle for less than two wee over immediately post sale.. Was told it needed approx 4-5k worth of work done for leaks in steering, brakes, etc.. Had vehicle for less than two weeks. Most of which I was given a loaner... I wanted out of the deal.. They offered me almost 4 k less than what I paid for it just days before. Spread the word about this very real despicable part of their business model. Thomas ( owner) is from the wrong side of the tracks and I guess you can't erase that type of hardship. More
Happy customer! I admit to having read the Edmunds.com Happy customer! I admit to having read the Edmunds.com article, “Confessions of a Salesman” and half expected to have this kind of experience buying Happy customer! I admit to having read the Edmunds.com article, “Confessions of a Salesman” and half expected to have this kind of experience buying my first car. Quite the opposite at Lexus of ABQ though. When my husband and I arrived, a polite gentleman named Jimmy Adams greeted us and asked us if we needed any help. We told him we came to look at a used car that we saw on the internet. It was an unbearably windy day so he told us we could wait inside the dealership while he pulled the car around – nice! After we decided to purchase, it was time for the scary negotiating part. Here’s how awful it was: The sticker price said $20,000, the third-party internet site we saw the car on said $20,000, and the going price on these cars is about $19 or $20,000, so we offered $18,500. Jimmy went to the boss guys with our offer and came back with their counter-offer of… $18,397. Huh? Well, their own website listed it for this price and even though we obviously didn’t know this, they gave this lower price to us. In summary, we got the car we wanted at a better price than we expected and would highly recommend Lexus of ABQ. And ask for Jimmy Adams! More
I took my LS430 to Lexus of ABQ. to have it checked out. They inspected the vehicle and indicated it was due for the 90K service (the vehicle has 88K miles). I asked for a quote and the service writer looke They inspected the vehicle and indicated it was due for the 90K service (the vehicle has 88K miles). I asked for a quote and the service writer looked at his quote sheet and said it would be $ 1700.00. I told them that seem very high and I would check elsewhere. I spoke to several friends who also own Lexus vehicles and they recommended an independent shop that does excellent work on Lexus, Toyota and Honda vehicles. I got a quote from that shop for $810 to do the same service that Lexus of ABQ. was going to do. I had the work done at the independent shop and the price actually came in lower than the quote. They use only OEM parts and the Techs are Master Certified. I saw the Lexus service writer a few months later (he now works at a different dealership) and mentioned the big price difference between the two shops. He laughed and said he almost felt guilt working at Lexus of ABQ because he knew they were screwing customers "big time" on maintenance and repair bills. More

I have several Lexus vehicles all of which have been outstanding cars. I've taken my cars to Lexus of Albuquerque on several occasions for repairs. Each time, the quoted amount has been astronomical. I outstanding cars. I've taken my cars to Lexus of Albuquerque on several occasions for repairs. Each time, the quoted amount has been astronomical. I finally found a good local repair shop that does excellent work at about 1/3 the cost of Lexus of Albuquerque. The ONLY time I will take my vehicles to this dealership is if they require a repair under factory warranty. More
I have been a repeated and satisfied customer of "Lexus of Albuquerque" for nine years. I have purchased several new LS430/460s from them during that peroid. It appears to me that most postings here are o of Albuquerque" for nine years. I have purchased several new LS430/460s from them during that peroid. It appears to me that most postings here are only from those folk who have sad experiences to report. I believe that those of us who have had excellent/good service and experiences don't take the time to say so. I believe excellent service is "expected" from Lexus dealers. My contact with dealers in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Ok have also been excellent. Over the past nine years, I have had several repairs by "Lexus of Albuquerque" under warranty to my vehicles: e.g. driver's seat bottom replaced (cracked leather), air conditioner/heater replacement (under dash noise problem), Transmission and fuel pump replaced under a recall (dealer refilled the gas tank at no cost and Lexus Hq sent me a Chevron Gas Gift Card for $200 and along with their apologies and hoped that I had not been inconvenienced in any way), drivers rug (not fitting well, they replaced all rugs front and back), tire replacement (nail in sidewall, not really a warranty problem, Lexus replaced it anyway). The vehicle has always been repaired to my satisfaction in a timely manner with loaner vehicle provided. After experiencing serveral problems with a local General Motors dealer, e.g. shock absorber on new SUV broken in half. Service manager said that I just thot it should ride like a sedan and it was really a truck. On an oil change, GM dealer forgot to put any oil in the engine and I checked the oil level prior to leaving the area and found none. When I drove it back into the service bay the service rep commented that the engine did not sound right. The service manager quickly disappeared. The only reason I mention it is to confirm that I have experienced dealer problems in the past, but not from Lexus. I'm due for a "Valve Spring Recall" and expect and hope that this experience will be the same as in my past experience. More
