I had tried calling over the weekend and Monday night, but the voice mail system wouldn't let me leave a message and cut me off several times. I finally spoke to Ron this morning, and Christine called back to offer a $200 refund. I would have liked an apology too, but Ron seemed irritated by my expressing how upset I was in my call with him and had Christina call to give me the refund. Expressing a complaint does mean I am unwilling to work with you to resolve the issue, but he said that to me. He did call me several times before I was able to connect with him, so you would think that my name and complaint would be remembered enough to talk about it. Since he didn't even know my last name after contacting me "multiple times", I felt like he hadn't researched my complaint at all even though I gave George my full name. Maybe George only gave him my number and told him "she complained call her." I'm glad it was resolved, and I hope Christina didn't get in trouble over my complaint. That was never my intention as she has always been very courteous and helpful when I went there for service. I won't use Toyota for major service work again, but I will probably still get oil changes done there and little things. This experience did not sour my entire opinion of Toyota as my experience would have been fine had I been told to replace the back breaks at the beginning.
