I’d like to start by taking responsibility for having signed everything. This was a VERY expensive learning experience for me. If you are a first-time buyer, and/or inexperienced, do your homework, wa signed everything. This was a VERY expensive learning experience for me. If you are a first-time buyer, and/or inexperienced, do your homework, watch a YouTube video, read a Reddit thread, know your stuff. Bring a friend with you that has experience in working with jackals like Steve, the finance manager. I am a first-time buyer, and like a true sucker, I expected to walk in, get a fair deal, and drive off in a new car. Instead, the finance guy, Steve Aldama, started off by buttering me up by complimenting me for working with Veterans. He went on and on, lathering me up one side and the other with the “hook” or whatever they call it in sleazy sales jargon. He then began to speak very quickly, gap protection this, tire insurance that, extended warranty, 10% interest, still never stating what I was paying for the car, even though I asked multiple times. I started to get the feeling he was playing me, but I was becoming impatient. I’ll admit, at this point, after sitting there for so long, I was ready to get my car and leave. If this was a psychological trick, it worked. Steve then rapid-fire had me sign and initial different things, still speaking quickly. They backed my new car into the bay so I could see it, which made me even more impatient. Folks, I ended up spending $13,000 more than the car is worth. $6,000 more than it was listed for. I didn’t realize this until I got home and pulled up the car on the Lewis webpage. My co-workers had a good time with this, and laughed at me. I take full responsibility and should have known better. It won’t happen a second time. I recommend you look elsewhere for your new vehicles, they have plenty of competition. I will never set foot in Lewis ever again. This was a learning experience that I will never forget, and look forward to building a more solid relationship with the other car dealers in my area. NEW BUYER BEWARE. Had Steve Aldama not been so xxxx-bent on robbing me to pad his commission, Lewis Dodge could have earned a loyal, repeat customer. I would have bought from them in the future, for both my kids and myself, over time. I tell anyone and everyone who will listen to avoid Lewis Dodge, as they are dishonest. UPDATE: I traded my car as a small down payment. However, I took a small loan using that car as collateral a few months prior, and the bank lost my title. The bank told me they could get it in two weeks for something like $22. Steve Aldama told me I could pay him $80 and get in within a couple of days. So I paid Steve $80. It took him nearly two months, days away from being illegal. I called and texted him every few days, and each time he had a fresh excuse on why he was taking so long. After I finally told him I would reach out to the records department to track it, he texted me five minutes later telling me he miraculously found the title. This man is unhealthy, imbalanced, and dishonest to his rotten core. UPDATE 2: I could no longer handle the $1,000 monthly car payment with 10% interest, and was forced to surrender the car to the lender (United Federal). THE FIRST sentence out of the lender's mouth was, "We can lower the interest rate to 6%." PROOF I was robbed. I was sick to my stomach. Navy Federal, who I bank with as a Veteran, offered to refinance for 5%, but upon seeing the terms of the loan and how badly Steve ripped me off, told me I would have to "significantly pay down the loan" before they would talk to me. I now ride a bicycle around Fayetteville, folks. A bicycle. United Federal will auction off my car, and I will be responsible for the remainder of the loan. I have been in contact with a bankruptcy attorney. Steve Aldama at Lewis Dodge tangled me up so badly that my finances and driving situation are screwed for the foreseeable future. I hope you didn't spend all my money in one place, Steve. More
Most dealership service departments are bad. This is worst I’ve found. They don’t know what they’re doing but worse is they absolutely don’t care about that fact at all. I bought a 105k Jeep 3 This is worst I’ve found. They don’t know what they’re doing but worse is they absolutely don’t care about that fact at all. I bought a 105k Jeep 392 final edition. I’ve had it 4 months. It’s been plagued with problems and I’ve had it back to the dealership 3 times in 4 months. Each time I take it, they say “the codes aren’t telling us the problem” and they send me home in it smelling like burning motor oil. Absolutely will NEVER buy another thing from Lewis and recommend you don’t either More
After being treated poorly by a competitor, my wife and I came to Lewis Auto Group in Fayetteville to look at a Ram 1500 Classic Tradesman. David came by to assist us. And he had the overall attitude of wanting to help us make an education decision rather than "sell" us something at all cost, which was so refreshing. Everyone we interacted with was extremely helpful and in no way pushy. Back in the finance office, Steve was knowledgeable and in no way pushy as well. He was only interested in helping make the best informed decision long-term. I am so happy I decided to do business with them. This is how car buying should be. Thank you for giving me a great deal on my new truck! More

Although it took a while to get done, Mike, the service advisor at the Jeep store, did a solid job of updating me when necessary. I did have an extended warranty that paid them for most items. The bill was an minimal when it was all said and done. I would recommend Mike as your service advisor if you need to go get your Jeep worked on. He’s a good trustworthy young man. More
Stay clear of this place!! I’ve worked many years in the auto industry not very long ago at all, and these guys are just NOT IT!!! My sales experience with Scott M. started out as a very friendly one. I asked many questions and got responses almost immediately, and he sounded very genuine. I specified I wanted to make sure everything was functioning well on the vehicle and there were no service lights on; the answers were ‘yes it’s great and no service lights!’ I was very happy when Toby the finance manager called and said he got me approved. I do have a low score and not a lot of collateral history, I imagine that the banks liked the $8,000 down payment, less loan to value they have to lend on. I asked an average of payments, short term, and a few other finance questions before driving TWO HOURS with my 4 children from Tulsa. Fast forward after my arrival: Everything seemed to be going very smooth. Then after I get into the infinity that was so nice - CHECK ENGINE SERVICE SOON - And on top of that, the A/C was blowing hot!! Okay, let’s drive, maybe that can get fixed. Vehicle shakes on the highway, okay it’s a used car, let’s see how they can help. So Scott brought me into see Toby (finance manager) to talk about the service issues that I was lied to about. Well, imagine this, it was the good ol’ “we don’t service ‘em so we can keep ‘em cheap”. Sure, okay. Great. Well, show me the contract. He shows me a basic 4 square type paper that about blows me out, I go outside, Scott the salesman aims to save his deal, we go back inside and I ask to see a sales manager or someone else. He brings me back to Toby again, disregarding what I asked. So I asked to see the CONTRACT again. Toby tells me he had to add on $4,000 (from the agreed price of $16,995 to $20,995) to the price of the vehicle for bank fees, which is ILLEGAL. He also told me I had warranty and GAP. Ok, I’ll take the service warranty, but I don’t want GAP, I’m putting 8 grand down… He tells me “he had to put it in to get the deal done with the bank” which is also ILLEGAL! Those are optional services, you are never obligated to buy them! I told him numerous times, I used to be an F&I Manager, I know the legalities and compliance laws. So basically, I drove 2 hours there to have been lied to about the condition and functionality of the vehicle, and I was also lied to about the financing and price as well! I was buying a vehicle for $17,000 putting $8,000 down, I should have been financing close to $11,000 (add in tire fee and doc fee, yes) but I should not have been financing anywhere near $17,000 after it was all said and done (and no tax and tag not included in this). OH! And might I mention this “bank fee” Toby added onto the sales price, ‘the dealer wasn’t going to get any of that money’. Come on guys! Do better!! I hope that the GM or GSM sees this and realizes they blew a buyer out due to greediness and lies. Sure, make your money, but don’t lie to get more. Such a disappointment. P.S. I also paid for insurance like they needed me to have, so now I’m fighting that. More
