We had bad experiences with 5 other dealers prior to our visit to Lester Glenn in Toms River. Have to be honest...it took us about an hour and a half to traverse to the dealership so we were quite apprehensive about the outcome. ...and the outcome...we bought 2 new Jeeps. I commend John Parillo for his dealership and would be remiss if I did not mention that he, the GM himself, came to the site to make certain we were pleased with the service. And the service.... David Rapisardi met us at the door and was very pleasant and introduced us to Anthony Rose. Dave stated that Anthony was one of his best sales representatives. At first we thought....great, another pushy salesperson. Anthony was respectful and by no means pushy. Due to the fact we ended up purchasing 2 Jeeps, Anthony was with us for close to 5 hours. It was an enjoyable 5 hours as he was helpful, friendly, and jovial. Okay...the distance to the dealership....stinks...but we will be returning to them in the future for any purchases...Good people. More

He is an experienced salesperson and this trait is clearly evident when interacting with him...no false promises or ambiguities. I highly recommend him if investigating a car purchase. More

Well, he didn't, it never arrived, so I called them. They had instead immediately sold it to somebody else then ignored me. This was a long distance deal, which shouldn't have been an issue at all, but I guess it was. If I were still thinking about it, that would be one thing, but I made it very clear to multiple people that I want to do whatever is necessary to lock it in and go ahead with it, then they nonchalantly immediately sold it to somebody else as if it were no big deal then hung me out to dry. Which normally wouldn't be a problem, but there are only a few new and stock 2012 cosmos blue Jeep Rubicon Unlimited's available for sale in the entire nation. Their first lame excuse for doing this was that since I wanted to confirm the color of the seats due to a horrific cell phone picture they sent me, I must have still been thinking about it, which is BS. It just went downhill from there. The fact of the matter is that a better and easier deal probably came along, in which they were more than happy to go with instead since apparently their word doesn't mean anything. It this legal? Sure it is, no problems at all, the dealership has every right to treat people like crap. However where I come from, if you give somebody your word, you follow through with it. We don't make a deal then renege on it when something better or easier comes along. You can earn a bad reputation real quick by doing that. On a positive note, the sales folks were in fact friendly and drama-free, at least until they dropped the bomb by telling me they sold it out from underneath me. That just don't matter much when you feel like you've been stabbed in the back now does it? Luckily I just locked in another one of the few left that I'm aware of, but I'm still fuming about this, and I'm out a couple grand more due to options that I didn't want. It absolutely ruined my day. People don't easily forget how you made them feel. Thanks for nothing guys. More

When we needed a new car for work, we knew we wanted a Dodge, so we went to a couple places. After we made our way to Lester Glenn and had a chance chance to work with Bobby Sweeney, we decided this was d Dodge, so we went to a couple places. After we made our way to Lester Glenn and had a chance chance to work with Bobby Sweeney, we decided this was definitely the place we were going to buy our car. Bobby did everything possible to make the Test Drive and the Buying as easy and seamless as possible. He knew that we had to work within certain time constraints, so he had everything ready to go when we got there. We were able to get the pricing we needed and the car we needed with no hassle. I know that when we purchase our next Dodge for work, we will be going back to Lester Glenn and back to Bobby Sweeney. I would recommend the dealership, and the guys we worked with to anyone for business or personal needs. Bobby was polite, helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to help out in any way he could to make things as easy as possible. Dave Rapisardi was quick with the numbers and able to make things work with the budget we had. The combination of the employees, the atmosphere, and the end product, a 2012 Dodge Charger, made this car buying experience quick, easy, and enjoyable. I commend the Lester Glenn Dealership on their choice of employees and the way they train them. This is how car buying should be, not high pressure haggling back and forth over $5 this way or that way. We gave them a number we had to be at, they gave us the car we wanted that fit in that budget, and I appreciate that very much. My wife and I stopped in to look at the Dodge Challeneger after having driven the new Camaro. We went for the test drive with Bobby Sweeney. It was such a pleasure working with him and getting to know him that we decided to buy a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara at the same time. So we went in to look and walked out with two new cars thanks to Bobby. (It's a compliment) Cars purchased: 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic + 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara The finance people were great too. We did purchase a tire warranty for the Challenger and the Simonize coating for both vehicles. The team also provided a nice trade in price for our Nissan. Overall, it was one of the best car buying experiences we've had. We've bought probably 6-7 cars over 20 years, but never at Lester Glenn. I look forward to returning there again. Thanks Bobby!
