Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We passed along your feedback to Lee Dell'olio, the General Manager of Buick GMC. His response is below. Please let us know if there's anything else we can help you with. "We regret that your experience during your visit at our dealership did not match that of most of our customers. I would like to clarify some of your concerns because I feel there is some miscommunication. When the appointment was first set with our internet representative, she requested that you ask for a manager, either Anthony or myself. We were anticipating your arrival at the dealership and were prepared with the keys for the Santa Fe ready to go. Your name was also listed on our large appointment board that is displayed when you first walk in our dealership. Unfortunately, the salesperson that ultimately helped you had just begun his shift and had not yet been brought up to speed on the day’s appointments. As far as the Hyundai Certified Program, I think there is some confusion when you refer to transferring the warranty coverage. The question on the website, “Is the Hyundai CPO warranty transferable?”, isn't referring to you buying a CPO Hyundai from a dealership, but instead is assuming you’ve already purchased a certified vehicle and wish to transfer the warranty coverage to the next or 3rd owner. As it states, you can transfer the coverage to the 3rd owner if it is a private party. However the coverage would end if you traded your certified Hyundai into a dealership. The main difference between purchasing a Certified Pre-Owned Hyundai vs a non-Certified Hyundai is the Certified vehicle will have the 10-Year / 100,000 Mile Powertrain Warranty reinstated, the non-certified vehicle will not. This is just one example. I would recommend you visit the following page on the Hyundai Certified website for further details: http://www.hyundaicertified.com/information/Overview.aspx that state: With your purchase of a Hyundai CPO vehicle, you receive the following suite of benefits valued at $2,066 *Remainder of 5-Year/60,000 Mile New Vehicle Warranty *Reinstatement of the 10-year/100,000 Mile Powertrain Warranty, etc. We offer this $2,066 value to our customers for only $895. As you stated, you traveled over an hour because you felt our vehicle was offered at a great price. In the end, we even offered to waive the $895 cost and still give you all of the benefits of the CPO program/warranty. We also offered you an additional $700 for your trade in. Our offer was declined. Should you reconsider that offer, or have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me at 732-349-4200 ext 10104. Lee Dell’Olio, General Manager."
