There’s an issue with the transmission on 8 speed 21 silverados. It’s well documented online with plenty of people having the same issue. After 2 attempts to reprogram the transmission i was informed vi silverados. It’s well documented online with plenty of people having the same issue. After 2 attempts to reprogram the transmission i was informed via a bulletin that the truck not transitioning from 1st gear to 2nd smoothly is normal. I came to lesson Chevy for the same problem’s when I purchased this truck and they said they can’t duplicate my complaint then the add oil low oil indicator came on I check the oil dip stick no oil was purchased this truck and they said they can’t duplicate my complaint then the add oil low oil indicator came on I check the oil dip stick no oil was present on the oil dipstick so I had the tow truck to bring it in they said they change the lifters I believe number 7 piston the truck still consumes oil I have had four oil consumption test done and the technician said it is normal for the truck to consume one quart of oil every thousand miles this is a 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 High County I talk to the service advisors Carlos or I would talk to Keith Very professional and very courteous and I was explaining to those guys and a young lady what was going on with the oil consumption they were explaining to me what the technician said about the oil consumption test out of no where the guy comes up and started making accusations and he told me that how about you bring it back to Baton Rouge where I purchase it and let them fix it because he said I said it can’t fix it I never talk with this guy before he came and but into a peaceful and respectful conversation like if he was waiting for me to come back to the service department after he kept making accusations about why when I put my truck in reverse my camera was showing down and more to the right and not level or centered I told him I was not speaking to him he told me they worked for him if I wanted my truck fixed I would want to talk to him when he told me take my truck back to Baton Rouge where I brought it from I lost all respect for him he told me to back up and give him space when I asked him can he talk twice when I call Chevy 800 customer service number yet I was at the back of my truck taking with the service advisor’s he came out of no where in too the conversation it’s very Unappropriate and unprofessional for what he has done to find out the he is the service manager I have the date that this happened I am Not sure if there’s cameras in the service area every time I bring my truck in I guess it is going to the same technician because he continue to say it is normal that there is no oil on the dipstick I wonder what is the dipstick for is it decoration and does the add oil low Instead of coming tell me too bring my truck back to where I brought it from he should be finding out with his technician why is this truck is continuing to consume oil if he doesn’t want to do his job he should stay out of Situations that will shine the light on him there seems to be some sort of discrepancy between the service manager and the technician because I purchased my truck from Ralph Sellers dealership I came to Lesson for this truck and was told that they can not get this truck it’s in high demand for this truck and I know it was true because I been trying for months and soon as one comes in it is gone before they can get it off the truck maybe they should find out why they feel that they should not work on a vehicle if it was not purchased there my warranty book says I can bring my truck to any GM dealership service dealership and you can pull up the times I brought this truck to lesson Chevy service department I have to pay out of my pocket to rent a car I was Reimbursed once for rental fees this is the worst service manager and technician I have ever come across I never heard it is normal to lose a quart of oil every thousand miles I would have to purchase five extra quarts of oil per oil change that’s 13 quarts of oil per oil change evidently I have a lemon 🍋 and anything you replace lifters and a piston and the truck keep coming back that is come back work your technician got paid for ether he is just a parts changer and not a tech unable to troubleshoot or diagnose a problem something is wrong More
