Immediately the fuel tank could barely be filled up. Took at least 5 minutes to fill up. Called the Leskovar service and was recommended to take to the Toyota dealer. Turns out Toyota and the national technical folks determined my gas tank fuel flapper valve is stuck shut. Toyota says to replace the fuel tank which is $1300 and they say a check engine light must have been shutoff (not sure about that). When I called Leakovar they say they have no recourse. Typical car dealer, only okay if the customer is wronged. Be aware of a used auto sales. More
I will never buy another car from Leskovar 3 of the 4 2014 Mitsubishi GT Outlanders they advertised for sale were not on the lot, but instead being used for personal use by the owner and his f 3 of the 4 2014 Mitsubishi GT Outlanders they advertised for sale were not on the lot, but instead being used for personal use by the owner and his family members. Due to that one of the cars had 5k more miles than advertised and was filthy on the inside. The other 2 couldnt even be looked at.It was like a 3 ring circus, calling the owner on the golf course to bring the vehicle in and having his wife remove her belongings from one of the vehicles so it could be test driven. Two of them same exact model and year had identical features and mileage but a 2k difference in price ( one of which the owner had- the lesser priced one). They sat in the sales office and the argument from one of the salesman was they had "different vin numbers, so they are different vehicles" and tried to justify the price difference by that. Every car has a different vin number. They did this all in earshot of the customer which was unprofessional to say the least. The real reason they had incorrectly posted the wrong sales price online on one of the two vehicles.The salesman told me the vehicle came with all the manufacturer warrantys because it only had 13k miles on it, but when I sat down to purchase it, I was told otherwise. So I asked the salesman again to clarify and he told me the exact same thing he had before calling it like a "certified preowned". He was then corrected by the finance manager, and then came in to point out in the booklet that the manager had given him that only the 1st owner is covered, instead of saying hey sorry I mis informed you.I was not compensated for this, but instead charged 1500 to buy an extended warranty to cover the things that I was told were included.When I got home with the vehicle I noticed it had a star key lug nut on each tire of which they did not provide the key for. I brought it in a week later to have roof racks installed, get the star lug nuts removed and to pick up a cargo cover and mats.The lady at the payment counter was extremely rude and did not even go over the charges. I wanted to make sure I was not being charged for the lug nuts they did not have a key for that they had to hack off the wheels.I then got home to find,the roof racks were installed backwards. I then was later called and left two messages about a fuel cap. When I returned the call to find out what they were talking about the lady that answered the phone was beyond rude and told me she needed the name of who called because she had 15 people working there. Really? is it that hard to figure out who makes outbound calls in the service department?Perhaps this was the same lady at the payment window, maybe a family member... they dont have to worry about their job when treating people poorly.Come to find out they had called me in error. I'm very surprised this family has been able to stay in business for 40 years with the way they conduct themselves. I will never buy another car from Leskovar, and I would never trust them to work on my vehicle.The staff is unfriendly, arrogant,unprofessional, and the way they treat people is far from acceptable, but honestly I don't think they care. ********Update 06/23 to my surprise I received an email from Mark the sales manager at Leskovar regarding a statement I made about the price of one of the vehicles they are currently advertising for sale. In his email to me, there was NOT one apology for what I experienced at the dealership. Really funny that he feels at liberty to email me about the price of a vehicle but he cant apologize for the poor experience in his dealership on multiple occasions. Arrogant and unprofessional. F- in customer service.That is exactly why I will never buy another car from Leskovar. Apparently,the problems in there stem from the top. More
So, brought a friend to buy a car here, as people said it was a good place. Apparently they have a no haggle price policy, so my friend was offered a 2002 buick for 5000 dollars. However, in the evening we discovered that they had the same car listed on the internet at 4000 dollars since a day before. How is it possible that the sale person did not know? Of course we took screenshots of that. Realizing of this problem, they changed back the internet price to 5000 dollars the day after (note that during all this period my friend already left a down payment ). So we went to contest that. At least they honored the 4000 dollars price (well, they have been caught with the hands in the jar), but for sure they have been very unprofessional. How can you not have sales person that do not know the prices of the cars they are selling? Most probably will not bring anyone there anymore, and so my friends. Sales person was Bill Roberson. More
