I just have to say that working with Val Lamb was wonderful. Our daughter Natalie was looking to lease a car and needed one that would fit in her budget. We had been looking at many places both dealerships and private owners but couldn't find anything. Then we came to Les Standford and had Val and everything fell into place. Val bent over backwards to help us. I don't think we have EVER had such a caring, compassionate, and helpful car salesperson as her (and we've had a lot of cars over the years!) It was because of her that we bought a GM (we have at this time 2 other brands of cars). We have never leased a car before so we had MANY questions and Val was extremely patient and professional and answered every one of them. We can't thank her enough!! If all goes well with the car Natalie may be very interested in buying it after the lease is up. This was our daughter's first new car purchase and Val made it very special for her. We will DEFINITLY reccomend people to Val and Les Standford (everyone else we ran into there was very nice too) for their car needs. Thanks again Val and Les Standford. Forgot to mention that we are from another area than Dearborn but because we liked this place and service that we came 35 miles! I think this too says something about the place. I was undecided on the type of vehicle I was going to purchase or lease. I debated between the Chevrolet Traverse and the Cadillac CTS. Dennis Tap related the features of those along with the Chevy Equ purchase or lease. I debated between the Chevrolet Traverse and the Cadillac CTS. Dennis Tap related the features of those along with the Chevy Equinox and the Cadillac SRX and the various models of all four. I test drove four vehicles before making my decision-Cadillac SRX Luxury. Although Dennis is a salesperson in the Chevrolet department, he made multiple trips across the street to the Cadillac lot to allow me to test drive those vehicles and to shuffle paper work when my decision was made. Additionally, my husband sold our Z06 Corvette to the dealership and Dennis negotiated a fair price for us. We both left very happy as a result of this sale. When we left the dealership, Dennis assured us that if we had any problems or needed any help with the car that we should call him. He followed that with a phone message left for us the following day. We both are very satisfied with our purchase, with our salesperson, Dennis Tap, and with the dealership, Les Stanford Chevrolet and Cadillac. Most people are not overly fond of visiting a car dealership, and as a single woman, I am unfortunately used to those that try to take advantage of me. From the moment I walked in the door at Les St dealership, and as a single woman, I am unfortunately used to those that try to take advantage of me. From the moment I walked in the door at Les Stanford, I knew that my experience was about to change. Julie made me feel comfortable, she knew what I would be looking for in a car before I even knew it! She took her time with me, explained all the features of the car (including the ones that are so important to us women!) and didn't complain one bit when I changed my mind at the last second. She graciously stayed late to accommodate me and my needs and kept in constant touch with me during the entire process over two days. I can wholeheartedly say that if it wasn't for Julie, I would probably still be car shopping. Her honesty, caring nature, and attention to detail made this car buying experience the best I have ever had. I have recommended her to many friends and know that when I am in the market to buy a car again, I will definitely pick Julie as my salesperson. This purchase was the best one I ever experienced. He was friendly and took care of what I needed from the moment I walked in. In all the previous purchases from other dealerships, I had to juggle and wrestl friendly and took care of what I needed from the moment I walked in. But, at this dealership with him, I just told him what I wanted, and then he took care of it from there. Another thing I was impressed was that after it was sold, he took off the stickers on windshield and cleaned for me. I remember how hard it was to take them off and clean glue for the previous purchases at other dealerships. Thank you so much. More
